JermTheElf
Hey guys, I've been tracking down a creaking / squeak in the rear of my car and I believe I've found the culprit. http://www.proflex.demon.co.uk/photos/legacy/rear_suspension_legacy.jpg The arm in this picture that extends from behind the rotor to the right appears to be the issue. Where this mounts on the right side there is a circular bushing, when I jack up this knuckle I can see the bushing nearly spinning, and hear a rubber creaking from in there. What is this bushing called? Is it common? I'm hearing it more on the passenger side than the driver side.

sheppo9
The trailing arm? As in the part that the hub/brake/lateral links go to? Front bush is half common to wear. Lots of poly options out now for them.
apexi
I get a squeak/creak on my rear passenger side. I've always assume it was from the parking brake, since I notice it only happens when I get in and out of the car, and the parking brake is engaged. I'm wondering if that could be what you're hearing too?
