andnyleswillriot
for some reason when I was dangerously low on antifreeze my car did this. probably not your problem but doesn't hurt to check.
BoozeRS05
-Open the fuse panel by your left knee -Pop off the panel to the left of that by the door -Find a set of green and white clips tucked up there -Clip corresponding colors together -Insert your key in the ignition -Have a pen and paper ready -Turn to 'ON', don't crank -While the gauges are sweeping press the trip button -Unclip before driving again Your car has a built in code reader, and will read off all CEL codes stored in the ECU where it displays the mileage. LowLegacy
Got it into the shop and they ran a health check, and the diagnosis is that it has a misfire in 2 & 3 causing backfires, the recommend replacing the plugs and coilpacks
