BJommin Posted August 23, 2013 Share Posted August 23, 2013 I have been driving with the windows down lately and I noticed that my 97 was making like a ticking noise when I was at idle at a stop light or at a stop. Anyone have any idea what this could be? I have searched around and a valve lifter is what I find, but it sounds a little different than that. I know that every once in a while my AT temp light blinks 16 times upon start up, but not every time. Not sure if the noise and the light are related though. Any thoughts though would be nice. pleaidestar Posted August 23, 2013 Share Posted August 23, 2013 Well at temp flashing would indicate a duty solenoid not working properly, haven't heard about them intermittently flashing at you..take a look at your atf level, color and smell.
