eny169
recently acquired an 05 4eat 2.5i wagon from a local used car dealership that came with a 3 month/3000 km Lubrico warranty. it has about 169,000 km or 105,000 miles. I looked under the engine today to check for external HG or VC leaks and I found a bit of seepage on the driver side cylinder head closest to the firewall. other than that, the car seems to be in good shape I was reading through the warranty and seepage or sweating is not covered. Is it worth it to have a shop run some tests to make sure it doesn't have the infamous HG problem while its still under warranty?

Nightmaresmk
Wouldn't hurt. The 05 and newer aren't known for head gasket issues but if it is make them pay for it.
