legy outback
Well, me and dad tore into my '98 legacy outback a little too quickly and we have all but the engine actually pulled out of the thing and realized the windows are down. Would I be able to simply reconnect the battery and roll the windows up without reconnecting all the electrics in that attached to the engine?? I would rather ask here than try the hard way Thanks in advanced guys!!
Kennyfvholla
Nope. I've done it a bunch of times. The only thing you might do is set off a few codes that will light the CEL. No harm will be done, and the ECU will be reset by the time you plug that battery back in after you put everything back together.

Kennyfvholla
Didn't know you had an alarm! And yeah, the fuel spraying thing.... I've had that happen once. I forgot to plug the hoses. It leaves a wonderful stain on blacktop lol
legy outback
Luckily we had the fuel hoses disconnected, and properly plugged...i suppose ill check on the heavy duty paper shop towels that we plugged them with lol and its all good Kennyfvholla. i spaced that i did too! Edit: SNAFU. it did squirt quite a bit of fuel into an apparently very well wrapped plug, i replaced it and all is well. It didn't even leak onto anything it was sitting on!!
