dark_thorns
So I finally get my car running again and installed a new clutch. The only problem is that when taking off from a dead stop in either reverse or first gear, the drivetrain feels like it's about to explode and the car shakes horribly. Sometimes it comes from the rear, sometimes from the front. It doesn't matter how clutchy i am with it, it still does it. But if the car is moving everything operates like it should. I had the flywheel turned, installed the clutch properly, and tightened everything down. I know i need a new master cylinder, but that wouldn't cause anything like this. Any ideas? dark_thorns
it almost feels as if the clutch is grabbing and releasing rapidly.
snederhiser
Hello; Check the clutch master and slave cylinder and make sure there properly bled and adjusted. Did you put in a new kit? I had to make new clip retainers for my throwout bearing. While on the lift, check tranny mounts. Steven.
dark_thorns
the u-joints feel good in it. i've got an oil leak from the rear of the oil pan, so i've got oil all under my car back to the trailer hitch so it seems i more than likely have oil all over the flywheel and clutch.
