Ste-doo
Hi! I just bought a legacy 2007 wagon. I bought it and my wife uses it:icon_neut Looking for some new wheels and have seen many nice wheels on this forum. Want to ask to be safe! The car is not lowered, and if it will only be with springs. question:will 18x9,5 ET38 be much work or do they fit? if not will 18x8,5 et44 fit on? Like the concave look on the 9,5" Thanks,
Dbl_D718
They look cool, but the 18x9.5 +38 size will need some work to fit. You'll need stretched tires, negative camber, and rolled fenders. The 18x8.5 +44 size will be a lot easier to fit. Depending on the tire size you choose, you may not need to do anything extra to fit them. If you use 235 or 245 wide tires, you'll probably need to roll the fenders in the rear. 225 tires will probably fit without needing the fenders rolled. Sideways the Seven
I had the same wheels. They will fit with no modifications to the suspension. After trying numerous sizes, I'd suggest 245/40/18 tires for proper sizing and minimal rubbing. -Brandon 2007 Chevrolet Suburban LT3 1981 Chevrolet C10 LWB

Sideways the Seven
8,5" or 9,5" I had 18x9.5 +38. First on 265/35/18, then on 245/45/18, and finally on 245/40/18. The 265s rubbed like crazy, the 245s, not so much. A slight roll will take care of that. The only setup that rubbed the strut was the 245/45 http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r268/No_Show/Subie/IMG_20130408_175745_zps35083d4a.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r268/No_Show/Subie/IMG_20130408_175817_zps5176a05a.jpg -Brandon 2007 Chevrolet Suburban LT3 1981 Chevrolet C10 LWB
Ste-doo
nice, thanks for the pics! is the fender the same on the legacy vs outback? same clearance to wheel/bumper? maybe I will go for a 235/40 tire for a little more strech..
Sideways the Seven
You're welcome and, yes, the fender clerance is the same. Sent from my SGH-T699 using Tapatalk 2 -Brandon 2007 Chevrolet Suburban LT3 1981 Chevrolet C10 LWB

I thought Outbacks had a higher ride height. Here is another member's thread on installing these wheels. Granted he's lowered, but I still don't think they would fit without some fender rolling, at least in the rear. Sideways the Seven
My Outback is on LGT suspension. The flares tack on over the original Legacy fenders, there isn't extra clearance. 245/40/18 rubbed on big bumps, 235/40/18 or 245/35/18 would be better. The only benefit to the Outback is that the flares help to hide some of the fender work.
