Hello.. first post. Glad this board is here. About a year ago I picked up a 94 legacy wagon with only 134k miles and all the maint papers. It was loved. So the dumb automatic seat belt got stuck up in the track. I tried to push the cable back up and ended up unplugging the motor and retracting the cable back and have been rolling around like that in the mean time. I figured I should replace it. No luck around town on junk yards. Looked online and it looks like a 700 dollar part! How hard would it be to just put a normal seat belt in? Has it been done? Any resources online I can look at or general advice on what to do with it?
