Spartanical

I checked the manual and then stared into my engine bay for about 10 minutes trying to find it. I stopped by the mechanic's, thinking maybe the dipstick fell out, and he couldn't see it either... but also no hole missing a dipstick. Anyone know exactly where I should be looking?
