Hey guys quick question. I just got a 2000 outback that had the ej252 and 5 speed manual for free. Only 127k miles but the engine knocks. However my buddy put an sti engine in his Wrx and said he’ll sell me the ej20 for $100. My question is, will the Wrx ej20 bolt up to my 5 speed or will I need to track down a Wrx 5 speed? I’m not trying to make power it’ll just be a stock winter beater. I’ve swapped a few engines but this is my first subie.
