  1. So change if the fluid won’t cause damage even though the fluid has 150k on it ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I just bought a 2008 Subaru Legacy 2.5i in great shape with 153k on it and the timing belt, water pump and head gaskets were replaced at 116k but the guy did not have any record of the manual trans fluid ever being changed this might be a dumb question but this is my first manual car and I know that in a automatic if you don’t know if the fluid has been changed you should leave it alone but is it the same case for a manual trans ? Should I change the fluid or leave it alone? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. That is with it running for about 5 minutes And this is with it cold like 12+ hours sitting And also I’ve noticed it kinda running like crap when it first starts cold you can hear it in the first video it sounds likes it’s running really lean, bad fpr? Bad fuel pump? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I did change the transmission fluid about 10k ago but I haven’t done the diff fluid yet should I do it soon? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. I don’t know if they are original but I would assume so. I bought the car with 175k or so and I haven’t done them as long as I’ve had it. Would a bad mount only clunk going from park to reverse? Wouldn’t it clunk going into other gears as well if it was a bad mount? What is a pitch stop? (lol I’m a noob) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I have a 2009 Subaru Legacy non turbo and when I am in park and shift into reverse I here this clunk sort of noise and I only hear it when the car is cold. It happens only once even if I shift from park to reverse then back to park and then back to reverse it won’t clunck. And I only hear the noise when going from park to reverse I don’t hear it any other time. Car has 207k any help is appreciated! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Don’t know if this is the place for this if not please take it down but I need some help. I have a 2009 legacy and I am adding black leather to it and the passenger seat I got is powered but the original seats are not. I looked up and people said there should be the harness for the power seat under the carpet but I don’t see it. Am I just not looking good enough? Should I run power from the battery? If so what is the best and safest way to do so? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It’s more of a tick and sounds fine when warm and if I put into drive when cold it goes away Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. When I cold start my Subaru Legacy 2.5 cold it sounds like the manifold is ticking like it has a leak or the bolts are snapped or something. It has done this since I bought and and the previous owner cut out the flex pipes and welded in straight pipes could this be the issue? It will continue to tick until it warms up then the tick goes away. But the weird thing is that if I tap the gas and rev up to like 3k or so and then the rpms fall and the tick goes away but it starts cold at like 2k but once I tap the gas the rpms go down to like 1k and the tick goes away any help! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Ok that makes sense thanks so much Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I am having an issue with my 2009 Legacy without the turbo. It has 206k on it and runs great and tranny shifts very well. The issue I am having is that whenever I’m driving and any speed or gear and I like “tap” the throttle the whole car will start to slow down and the RPMs will go way up into the 4K range and the car will downshift a gear and then after 2-3 seconds the car will upshift again and the RPMs will go back to normal and everything is fine but the weird thing if I put the car into Sport mode and “tap” the throttle like before everything is fine I don’t know what it could be any help, is appreciated!
