I'm about to install a diy kit. Here is what I bought:
1x M20x1.5 to -6AN fitting
1x 20mm crush washer (94109x20000 honda oem)
1x -6AN 45 degree fitting
1x 5/8"x5/8"x3/8" tee
1 ft 3/8" coolant hose
1 ft 5/8" coolant hose
2x clamps for 3/8" hose
2x clamps for 5/8" hose
My plan is to not cut the oem heater hose and instead use a small chunk of the 5/8 line on one side of the tee and then the oem heater hose on the other side.
This is essentially the same kit as the VEMS tuning cooling kit. They use Phenix Industries AN fittings. The -6AN is a little smaller diameter than the Dom kit. According to VEMS tuning, the -6AN fitting is within 0.010" of the optimal diameter but uses off the shelf parts for simplicity.

My car (2008 outback XT with performance parts and a tune) is pretty new to me. Here's what just happened: Yesterday, I went to replace my cabin filter and discovered none there. The previous owner had routed the wires for the aftermarket (AEM) gauges through there and never put a filter back in. I pushed the wires aside and got it the filter to work.
This might not be related but today, I got a blinking cruise control light, a blinking S mode light and a check engine light--and the boost gauge reads really high (not on the dial, but on the center number displayed). It runs just fine though. So with the little daylight, I had left after work, I removed the filter and checked the wiring connections but I still get the same warnings and gauge issue when I turn the car on. I need to get my code reader back from the dude I loaned it to, but do you have any ideas for me? Do the wires for the boost gauge also go to the car's ECM, or whatever you call it on a Subaru?

08 outback XT with a manual transmission
I have to pull a trailer tomorrow for the first time. I need tips to go as easy on the car as possible. Is it better to keep it in I mode? Should I try to keep the revs up or down?

I'd prefer black or unpainted black. I'd consider aftermarket too. Thanks

This car is very new to me, but I thought I read that the DRL's were 50% power high beams. If that is the case, they shouldn't shorten the life of the low beam bulbs at all, and at that power, the high beams should last quite a while.

Do I need high heat pigtails for a 70w bulb? Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/H7-Ceramic-Wiring-Harness-Sockets/dp/B07G46CQXX/ref=sr_1_11?dchild=1&keywords=H7+high+heat+pigtail&qid=1587863850&s=automotive&sr=1-11

As long as I am cutting the sensor off will one from a wrx work? Differnt part number 14831AA171 but the sensor part of it looks the same. It's much cheaper.
