They keep telling me it is coming so I have hope anyway. Would love to try it on TXT. Numbers on the Ascent look good. Stage 1 is fine. Not sure what the final numbers will be but looking forward to giving it a try. Hopefully perhaps tighten up the motor/CVT "relationship" a bit... Thanks for the post
Stage1 93 Oct.
Peak Gains: +8% HP / +14% TQ
Max Gains: +21% HP at 4400 RPM / +21% TQ at 3800 RPM
Stage1 87+ Oct.
Peak Gains: +5% HP / +3% TQ
Max Gains: +9% HP at 4400 RPM / +9% TQ at 3800 RPM
So on a 87+ tune that is 23.4 or about 284 total. 93 tune is more like it (over 300hp) but I'm not going there. If it improves the driving experience, comes with multiple maps I'm in. But first, let's see if it comes out. Thank you for the post and time you put into that....
Have you heard anything more or any recent developments on a Cobb accessport for the TXT? Wonder what the likelihood of one is?!?

Mine is averaging 26.7 mpg.

It’s likely whatever is being sprayed directly on the tire is ending up on the brake rotors is causing the break noise issue. Try spraying onto a sponge, away from the car, then rubbing onto the tires. Let us know if that helps.

I’ve installed a Perrin pitch stop mount and steering dampener, from nameless I’ve installed an 18-19 legacy axelback exhaust, strut tower bar, and battery tie down. Installed hella horns as well. And yellow fog light tint (vinyl)
Has anyone with an XT installed one of these Nameless strut tower bars on their new Legacy?

And like that, my hopes for a Legacy "S" model gets slimmer and slimmer. A Legacy S402 anyone?(or would it be called S403?) I would have settled for a Tuned by STI Legacy.
Now we’re talking! Subaru- are you listening?

There were PDFs on eBay for sale where they downloaded all of the STIS web pages.
Subaru has separate diagrams for each system so no one place to see all of the wiring.
Thank you!

Anyone have or know where to find the electrical schematics for the mirror or lighting above the mirror in the ceiling, just forward of the sunroof? Want to stay clear of the eyesight system.
Thanks!

I don’t remember if it was a Safelite guy or not but I saw a neighbor’s car having its windshield replaced and I went to speak to the tech. I asked about Eyesight calibration since I had read other posts about possible issues. He knew what I was talking about and said after a replacement a dealer would have to do the calibration. He did explain why it might be a problem after the windshield is replaced, I’m not certain I understood completely but it did give me the impression that the whole process would be best handled by a dealer if possible.
They have the calibration equipment equipment, but will tell you that they still might have to coordinate with the dealer if for some reason they’re not able to calibrate the eyesight system. Which is what happened with my 2020 TXT.
-
Can you clarify what you mean by "they weren’t able to calibrate the Eyesight system"? Were you able to have it calibrated at the dealer?
Safelite wasn’t able to calibrate the Eyesight system when they replaced the windshield. Not acceptable to the carrier. The policy requires repair or replacement to be good as new, so the car is scheduled for a new OEM windshield and calibration Thursday.

The aftermarket glass is probably less likely to crack vs the OEM. My windshield has a crack in it from a tiny pebble so I'd take a bit more noise over that.

You bring up a good point. Thx.

I would check to see if your replacement is OEM or aftermarket. I never had any trouble with either but Subaru will tell you never go aftermarket due to Eyesight and calibration. Or at least my dealer (finance) made a big deal out of it at the point of sale. Mostly because they sell a package to cover it. My last windshield was aftermarket and no issues at all.
The new windshield is definitely aftermarket. Looks fine only they weren’t able to calibrate the Eyesight system and the cabin seems louder to me. If OEM is in fact acoustic glass, then I’ll have to insist on having it replaced with OEM glass. Thx.

Had the windshield replaced due to something a semi kicked up on the highway and I’m probably just imagining it but the interior seems a bit louder. Is there a difference between the OEM and aftermarket windshield?

Very nice! Like it!!

Don't think nameless has anything for the XT/GT unless the 2019 version of the 3.6 fits, which I doubt.
I inquired once and they never responded.

Do they have anything for the XT yet? I keep checking their site but haven’t seen anything yet.

I’m getting steady 27.4 mpg. That’s with 160 miles round trip 90% hwy:10% city driving.

Try Costco. I went through them for a Touring XT and got it for $500 over invoice. I ordered it end of December 2019 and took deliver end of March. At the time Subaru was offering 0% interest, which was nice. So I kept my GT. I’ve been working from home since, so haven’t had a chance to drive it much. Soon. Good luck!
-
Looks like mine is on 503 and fortunately with issues. That said, I didn’t take delivery of my XT until end of March 2020. It still has less than 1,300 miles on it. I’ll be curious to see if there’s any difference once it’s updated.
-
Good to know. Both are on the global platform so should fit.
-
There are lots of Touring XTs on Auto Trader but you may have to travel to get one. That’s how I found mine, I had to drive two hours across Ohio to get it. White Touring XT.
That’s probably the only option at this point if you want an XT or Touring XT. I was fortunate to take delivery of mine end of March, but I’d ordered it in December. Almost cancelled but couldn’t pass up the 0% interest.

You can adjust the brightness and set to whatever your preference. In the day its not an issue. The screen does takes some getting use to, especially if you’re coming from an older model like I am from 2012 GT to the 2020 Touring. Since preference vary, consider taking one for a test drive and see what you think.

Any of you guys had the 2005 to 2009 GT's before and how the new XT/ GT feels power wise to it?
Was going to test drive today but ran out of time, nearest dealer is 1.5h away.

I just took delivery of a 2020 Touring XT. I also have a 2012 GT that I feel is more responsive. I think if it were stick the Touring would be equally responsive. With 277 ft lbs of torque it’s been tuned down quite a bit. It’s a commuter car, but I think with good tune, sway bars, coil overs or bilsteins or some other setup with it could be decent performer. My GT is tuned so no need to do anything with my Touring. I plan to keep it stock except for maybe a tune once there is one.

Congratulation on you new purchase. You will love it.
This is actually my second Legacy. My first was a white GT I bought new in 2012. Wife was adamant I was too old for the STI, so that’s what I ended up with. No regrets, it’s been a great car. This time I went with black with the only options being, added a rear spoiler, phone charger and splash guards. So far really like the new Legacy. It’s a nice looking car and the CVT some are grumbling about seems like much to do about nothing. It’s not an STI, but it seems to have a decent amount of power. It’s still brand new so couldn’t open up to see. That said, thanks and happy to be the first in my area with a new black Touring XT.

I ordered my Touring XT right after Christmas and took delivery of it today. I commute 150 miles a day so look forward to driving to-from work once the shelter in place order is finally lifted in California.
Does the Legacy with turbo have the thicker windshield/side windows in front?
in Seventh Generation Legacy (2020 - )

No. The windshield on my 2012 GT has held up much better to rocks and crap on the highway. I’ve already had the windshield replaced on my 2020 TXT with less than 6k miles on it to-date.
