  1. No. The windshield on my 2012 GT has held up much better to rocks and crap on the highway. I’ve already had the windshield replaced on my 2020 TXT with less than 6k miles on it to-date.
  2. Have you heard anything more or any recent developments on a Cobb accessport for the TXT? Wonder what the likelihood of one is?!?
  3. It’s likely whatever is being sprayed directly on the tire is ending up on the brake rotors is causing the break noise issue. Try spraying onto a sponge, away from the car, then rubbing onto the tires. Let us know if that helps.
  4. Now we’re talking! Subaru- are you listening?
  5. Anyone have or know where to find the electrical schematics for the mirror or lighting above the mirror in the ceiling, just forward of the sunroof? Want to stay clear of the eyesight system. Thanks!
  6. They have the calibration equipment equipment, but will tell you that they still might have to coordinate with the dealer if for some reason they’re not able to calibrate the eyesight system. Which is what happened with my 2020 TXT.
  7. Safelite wasn’t able to calibrate the Eyesight system when they replaced the windshield. Not acceptable to the carrier. The policy requires repair or replacement to be good as new, so the car is scheduled for a new OEM windshield and calibration Thursday.
  8. The new windshield is definitely aftermarket. Looks fine only they weren’t able to calibrate the Eyesight system and the cabin seems louder to me. If OEM is in fact acoustic glass, then I’ll have to insist on having it replaced with OEM glass. Thx.
  9. Had the windshield replaced due to something a semi kicked up on the highway and I’m probably just imagining it but the interior seems a bit louder. Is there a difference between the OEM and aftermarket windshield?
  10. Do they have anything for the XT yet? I keep checking their site but haven’t seen anything yet.
  11. I’m getting steady 27.4 mpg. That’s with 160 miles round trip 90% hwy:10% city driving.
  12. Try Costco. I went through them for a Touring XT and got it for $500 over invoice. I ordered it end of December 2019 and took deliver end of March. At the time Subaru was offering 0% interest, which was nice. So I kept my GT. I’ve been working from home since, so haven’t had a chance to drive it much. Soon. Good luck!
  13. Looks like mine is on 503 and fortunately with issues. That said, I didn’t take delivery of my XT until end of March 2020. It still has less than 1,300 miles on it. I’ll be curious to see if there’s any difference once it’s updated.
  14. Good to know. Both are on the global platform so should fit.
  15. That’s probably the only option at this point if you want an XT or Touring XT. I was fortunate to take delivery of mine end of March, but I’d ordered it in December. Almost cancelled but couldn’t pass up the 0% interest.
  16. You can adjust the brightness and set to whatever your preference. In the day its not an issue. The screen does takes some getting use to, especially if you’re coming from an older model like I am from 2012 GT to the 2020 Touring. Since preference vary, consider taking one for a test drive and see what you think.
  17. I just took delivery of a 2020 Touring XT. I also have a 2012 GT that I feel is more responsive. I think if it were stick the Touring would be equally responsive. With 277 ft lbs of torque it’s been tuned down quite a bit. It’s a commuter car, but I think with good tune, sway bars, coil overs or bilsteins or some other setup with it could be decent performer. My GT is tuned so no need to do anything with my Touring. I plan to keep it stock except for maybe a tune once there is one.
  18. This is actually my second Legacy. My first was a white GT I bought new in 2012. Wife was adamant I was too old for the STI, so that’s what I ended up with. No regrets, it’s been a great car. This time I went with black with the only options being, added a rear spoiler, phone charger and splash guards. So far really like the new Legacy. It’s a nice looking car and the CVT some are grumbling about seems like much to do about nothing. It’s not an STI, but it seems to have a decent amount of power. It’s still brand new so couldn’t open up to see. That said, thanks and happy to be the first in my area with a new black Touring XT.
  19. I ordered my Touring XT right after Christmas and took delivery of it today. I commute 150 miles a day so look forward to driving to-from work once the shelter in place order is finally lifted in California.
