  1. Would you be able to get closer pics of the cup holder piece I don’t need the armrest but might be interested in you don’t want to separate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Do you still have the crank pulley? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. The way I have the car else warrant anything beyond an OEM replacement, I am looking purely for comfort and noise levels as if it came straight from factory abs I’m very happy with the way it feels now. The old mount was absolutely thrashed so this was a nice quick refresher for the car and myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Felt a clunking in my car lately as I’ve been changing gears and checked my trans mount and saw a pretty extreme amount of play (pretty sure it’s the original mount with 205k miles). Got an OEM replacement from BAMWholesale who I highly recommend and got to work today. Mount came out without much of a fight, the Hayne’s Manual wanted me to completely undo the transmission crossmember and drop everything out but I was able to get away with just undoing the mount itself and two rear bolts then jacking up the transmission and sneaking the mount out at that point. Overall a pretty easy job it only took about 15 minutes including FaceTiming my parents during the job. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yes! Just the part you are touching. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I need a plastic piece behind the dash storage cubby everyone keeps ghosting me on, I’m down in SLC if you can get it for me I have cash with your name on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. This is $200 less than I paid retail without shipping. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Selling my set of 5x100 Enkei RS05RRs, 18x8.5 +42et. BNIB never been outside or test fit, perfect condition no flaws I just found another set of wheels I want. $2k firm located in Salt Lake City, UT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I have a set of Bilstein BSS Coilovers that need rebuilding (part # BSS6023J) and am having a hard time finding support for them as they were from Bilstein of Japan and not available to the North American Market. I’ve already contacted Bilstein North America and they referred me to a Motorsport shop they outsource to but I’m looking for more information from other owners as to what process they went through to get either replacements parts or rebuild service stateside. 10. Well I finally got around to doing the front left hub assembly on my 2005 LGT, made it over 200k miles before finally going out on me. Got an OEM replacement and new bolts to hold everything in and went at it. I know quite a few instructionals say to remove the tie rod and ball joint in order to do this job but I didn’t find that remotely necessary. In all actuality I found this job to be fairly straight forward, the only real trouble I had was getting the axle to pop out, more a problem of living in a salt state than anything else, but even this was easily solved with some heat and a pulley puller. Gotta day I think this is a job more people should try attacking themselves it gives a fair degree of resistance but not more than your regular brake job or any other routine maintenance on the car. Finishing up the last few suspension touches so I can road trip back home to cost family later in July so hopefully it’ll all be wrapped up soon! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Subaru did make an OEM GPS unit but there’s two problems with retrofitting them, 1) they are horrible GPS units and 2) if your car has any canbus it’s a nightmare to get it to work without cutting up a body harness and splicing everything together behind the dash but if you have hi and lo canbus you can kiss that idea goodbye Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Just put a good penetrating fluid on them and let it sit for 10-15 minutes, I recently did mine and they came off easy and that’s on a salt state car too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I’ve had good and bad experience with teins in the past, they are good on this car but we’re god awful on my old turbo MR2, if I could get a good set of Bilsteins or Stasis Ohlins I’d be very happy but out of the price range for now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Good to know, my commute right now is maybe 1/4 of a mile to work and occasionally to my ladies place but I don’t do much driving at the moment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Lots of it haha, I live in a salt state so anti seize makes it way onto everything I put back onto the car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Good to know I’ll be sure to do that when I get back under the car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Good to know thank you! I don’t think there was anything wrong with them it was a different problem with the control arm itself that prompted the service. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Still learning what exactly is on the car this is just what I was told by the GT Owners Club on facebook. Had I known this was in the car I would've rented a pickle fork to swap everything across but that gives me a project for when I do the other control arm later. Everything is pretty equal from side to side the only variance really is in camber but also 99% of my driving is around 45 mph in a straight line to and from work so unless I take it to a track day, which I have zero intention of doing, I really doubt I'll feel any difference.
  19. Yes! I was unaware of this as the previous owner of the car said it only had coilovers, turns out it actually has whiteline anti sway bars, urethane bushings, mounting brackets, outer tie rods, ball joints, and Kartboy endlinks. Had I known this before hand I would have rented a pickle fork to swap the ball joint over to the new control arm but I guess that gives me a project for next week!

  21. Control Arms today and found out my “stock” suspension is actually all Whiteline! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. So last week I went into my local tire shop for some new tires and an alignment and they told me I needed a new front left control are as it had lots of play and would be pointless to do an alignment in the current state. I’ve worked with these guys before and they have always taken care of me so I ordered a new control arm and new steering knuckle pinch bolt (both OEM of course) which came in a few days ago so I went to my buddies place to put everything in. As I got the car up the first thing I did was soak the pinch bolt in WD-40 penetrant formula as a precaution to avoid it snapping on me. While waiting for it to do its work I started working on getting everything else loose and noticed some interesting things that led to my problems. The rear bushing was nicely torn which didn’t surprise me on a 200k mile car but what did surprise me was the cause, the front pivot bolt on the control arm was only hand tight. Yikes. Once I got those items taken care of I had a moment to check out everything else in the car, which according to the previous owner only had coilovers, but boy was I pleasantly surprised. Turns out the car actually had both the Whiteline Anti Swaybar kit with Kartboy Endlinks along with the Whiteline Antilift kit. Can’t complain about that! Moving along on my job once I got the pinch bolt loose without breaking (thank you WD-40) I noticed it was not even the correct bolt and instead was a random one with a washer. Easy fix however since I ordered the OEM one from Subaru expecting problems with it anyways and the control arm itself came out like butter, zero issues. The Whiteline ball joint is still on the old control arm as I didn’t have a pickle fork to remove it with although my buddy is getting a hydraulic press which might make things quite easy later on. Once I got everything back together and torqued down she was off the the alignment shop for one last check on torque specs then a new 4 wheel alignment. Later on when I have saved a little more money and time I’ll replace the other control arm and do wheel bearings while I’m in there to celebrate just rolling over to 200k miles. 23. Thank you! I'll definitely be keeping a good record of everything that happens with the car, it will take me some time to really get a chunk of work done as I'm still getting my bachelors wrapped up but I'm really excited to have my hands on one finally!
