  1. it is a cali car has single port exhaust drive by wire says h4 on the airbox 2 af sensors 3o2 sensors 3 cats.
  2. i have a friend with the 2004 outback h4 cali emissions and has the exhaust that looks exactly like an h6 exhaust. 3 cats and 5 sensors single oval ports on the heads. is the h6 exhaust the same thing or is there something different about it that it wont fit? the h6 cats can be found cheaper than the ones that say there for the h4 specifically.
  3. never mind i dont think it will work that way now. i believe what i need to do is a half second delay
  4. does anyone know where i can find the keyless module pinout? the connector shown in the fsm seems to not be correct and looks like the security modules connector not the keyless modules connector. ive been trying to make the factory alarm play nice with a remote starter. im currently encountering an issue where the security wont disarm because the door locks are being ran at the same time its trying to disarm the securty. im hoping to find th wires going intot he keyless module that tells the module when the doors are being locked and unlocked so i can remove them from the harness so the module cant see when the remote starter is running the locks.
  5. i had that left radio in my wagon before i went aftermarket. it did not have an amp in my car 2001 outback but i still felt like it did not sound amazing. i think changing the speakers is a big part of it for sound quality but the factory radio will never sound as good as a good aftermarket radio. u should be able to just swap the radios and have it work though. id also swap those wood trim bits over as well they should all fit.
  6. i do not think this is a thing on the h6 as it was not offered in manual. we've been through the wiring schematics too and dident see anything about a pin on the ecu for manual with the h6. so far the car runs great and it spits the p0866 code every 3rd start. when the p0866 code is set the car runs poorly and will want to stall coming to a stop until the code is cleared and then will run great again for the next 3 restarts until the code is set again. speed signal is wired into the ecu and cluster reverse lights hooked up now as well. if we cant find a way around this code might buy a tactrix cable and remove the code from the ecu.
  7. ive been helping a friend do a manual swap on a 2004 h6 outback the swap is done and the car runs well being a manual but we are getting a p0866 TCM Communication Circuit High code so far the only code its spitting out. is there a way to work around this code short of plugging a transmission back into it? we did build a resistor line to mimic the transmissions sensors/solenoids and the tcu is still plugged in but its not happy about something.
