  1. I got it working, next to the fuse box under the dash there are 8 relays that for some reason aren't mentioned anywhere, and are kinda hidden under wires and stuff. The top right one was missing and thats the heated seat relay that doesn't come with the car. So I swapped it out with one of the other relays there and they starting working. Easy fix for such a frustrating problem
  2. The heated seats worked fine when I pulled them out of the old car. And yes the car I put them in didn't have heated seats to begin with. But it had all the required loom to plug straight in
  3. Alright so I had a 2004 legacy with leather interior that had heated seats, I bought a 2005 legacy with fabric interior that didn't have heated seats. The 2004 was on its last legs so I wanted to swap the interior over to my new one. Everything bolted in fine. The wiring loom was all the same. And everything plugged in fine, so I thought great. But the heated seats don't work. The lights on the heater switch light up when I turn the headlights on its getting some kind of power. But the heated seats still don't work. I checked all the fuses, checked all the loom of the old car and new car. All the wires were the same color. Everything matched. Even the electric adjustable seat worked when I had it all plugged in. So does anyone know what might be my problem, or how I can go about diagnosing it. Or if anyone has a wiring diagram from that section. New car is a 2005 legacy 3.0 manual if that makes a difference. Any help would be great, cheers.
  4. Ive got a manual ez30 legacy, I wanna mash the Insides of the catylac converter out or get it cut out and replaced with a pipe, has anyone done this before? Does it cause an engine light to come on? Or ruin the back pressure? How much difference does it make to the noise? It already has the rear mufflers removed and replaced with koby mufflers I think. It has a nice sound but it's not very loud, so wondering if this will increase the noise and will be worth doing. Cheers.
  5. Thank you I'm guessing it's easy enough to change the glass between the 2? Changing the window regulator also? I guess I'll buy one and figure it out lol. Cheers for the help
  6. My car : 2005 bp legacy sedan I've got a dent in my right rear passenger door, panel bearing is too expensive so thought I'd just get a second hand door. Can only seem to find doors of the wagon models in the color I need at the moment. Anyone know if the wagon rear doors are interchangeable/same size as the sedan doors? They look the same but i have my doubts. Surely someone has tried this before also. Cheers.
