  1. Good information fuzzysoul. Subaru said they went to a standard frame on these to cars. I have notice the part numbers are one or two number off each other. I would say the Outback is stiffer then the Legacy for the off road features of the outback.
  2. Read this it may give you same insight on the sway bar working or not. I think it will because the Legacy and Outback are build on the same frame. https://www.autoblog.com/2020/04/01/2020-subaru-outback-suspension-deep-dive/?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly9sZWdhY3lndC5jb20v&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAABHy27jHpDb2Vbxq8FRPWYFa8LFpcpzijs3NO-DniQ40D0K7SnMtIZRY0odP9WHfcO-V1X9h88_djEIfkpy7N8EYVPhqWkADyv5FkGrAahkobY3rj-M4v2iEs-D2hEwL2JAbRXA-HQCY3vU-5W2v5uY55vcuwdomzABteq7B4ZEb
  3. No, the front ones are the same as in the Outback. There would not be any improvements on the change. I am not sure you can do that to a 2019 because in 2020 they changed the frame system in the Legacy and outback to be the same frame or base. the difference is they put a 2" left on the outback. Here is great information on the changes. https://www.autoblog.com/2020/04/01/2020-subaru-outback-suspension-deep-dive/
  4. No, I had a Subaru upgrade shop here in town and I watch them and all they did was removed the struts or shocks and changed the spring on them and put them back. It took them about 40 mins. to do the job. I think I paid them $260.00. That was for the springs and to put them in.
  5. I believe the part number the shop used is 20380AN01A. I know from the Legacy one to Outback was one number in the part number. I did a look and the Outback Coil Spring is 20380AN01A and the Legacy one is 20380AN00A
  6. I would think you should be able to tow or pull what ever the Outback can do. Other then the body the rest of the car are the same. I now can put over 200 lbs in the trunk and there is no or little sagging in the back. I think with the extra weight it may ride a little better too.
  7. The ride is a lot better. Before when you would go thru a bump the front would handle it great and the back would be like you had no or week shocks. Now the car movie up and down together. I think its a smother ride. The only thing I notice that is more harsh is going over speed bumps.
  8. Yes, it does set higher or can I say it sits the way it should be sitting. The car now has the same clearance from finder to wheel in the front and back. I will take a picture and post it here for you. The other thing is the car handles so much better and going over bumps the car is more in control.
  9. What I can say about this is because the springs in the back will not hold the load. My springs gave out because I put a lot of weight in the trunk and it sunk the springs. So I put the Outback springs on the Legacy in the back. Now I can tell you the car drives better and handles the corners a lot better too.
  10. My 2020 Legacy has always run about 215F or say over 200F. Here in Las Vegas it is over a 100F. When the outside temp is lower my oil temp is also lower.
  11. The papers I got from the dealer says it was a recall. But there was a recall on the cars from 2018 - 2020 at this time. I am wandering if there is now another recall on the fuel pumps and replace fuel pumps from last recall. Only time will tell if this fuel pump will need replaced again.
  12. I seen this and it could be a big problem. When I first got my Legacy and had about 10,000 mile the fuel pump went out. I hope this does not happen agian.
  13. Did anyone get this recall notice on there car. https://www.impreza5.com/threads/recall-for-2019-2020-ascent-2018-forester-2018-2020-impreza-legacy-outback-2018-2019-brz-wrx-and-toyota-86-vehicles.15795/
  14. I am at 20k right now and it is setting at 25.2 mpg. I get about 30 mpg on the high.
  15. I do not have Sirius program and do not use it and my unit has rebooted 2 times sense the install of the new software. It seems to me it happens when the card gets hot inside. Not sure but is the only time it reboots. It goes black for about 30 seconds and then come back of and everything is fine. ??????
  16. When I got the oil change the dealer installed the new update. So fare it has been good. The one thing I notice is the Auto/Stop start is on the first screen. This should of been there when they released the cars at the begining. I still love the Autostop Eliminator from https://www.autostopeliminator.com/collections/subaru/products/2020-subaru-legacy-autostop-eliminator
  17. I got the update and everything seems fine so far. They did move the Autostop/Start button on the first screen.
  18. Has anyone else got a message that there is a software update?
  19. Has any one else got a message on a new update to the software?
  20. Here is some pictures of the car after the suspension change.
  21. No plans in changing the front springs. They are working great. I changed the rear ones because the back of the car set about 2 in lower then it should of. If I put any weight in the trunk the car would sway all over the place. Was scary to drive. Now the car preforms the way it should. The other thing I notice was my headlight was pointing up at times and with anything in the trunk I was getting flashed all the time. The Outback spring did the trick and the car handles now like a dream. I will post pictures of the side of the car so you can see the difference.
  22. WOW, here is Las Vegas I only get about 26 MPG around town and any where around 29 to 31 mpg on the highway (freeway). I have the 2020 Legacy Limited with about 12k on it now. I am starting to think plm42 is correct the turbo getting better mileage.
  23. I have scraped mine a couple of time coming out of a drive way a little to fast and the drive way goes down and up again. On the downside right before coming up it would scrape. Again I was doing about 10 coming out of the drive way and the car bounced a little.
