I'm pretty sure the recall did NOT replace the overhead display. Mine was wonky before and after the recall. The DIY solder fix worked for a time but I eventually bought a new display panel. About $100-150 as I recall.

Thanks all. The re-solder trick worked for me too today. I bought the iCarsoft 903 some time ago which said the passenger airbag indicator was the problem. But I needed this site to know what to re-solder. Many thanks to all, especially the folks that posted photos.
