  1. Just changed my oil with liqui moly 5w-40 and oil pressure is way better at all temps. Maybe the lucas was a lower viscosity then rated not sure Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  2. oil pressure is good on power and driving, its only at very hot idle where i have an issue.
  3. So I built my motor about 8k ago, using sti crankshaft, eagle rods, manley pistons. and king bearings. new subaru oil pump Engine is running strong and clean no issues there. I just installed an oil pressure gauge and i have a few questions. so today its 85 degrees out when i let for work this morning and on engine start my gauge is at 90 psi. by the time i get to work about 10 minutes at idle im around 17 ish. but lets say i go and do some highway driving for extended period of time or go and do a few pulls or just driving back roads is where i think i may have a problem, after those scenarios my oil pressure at idle is like 10-12 psi. If i bump the rpm to like 1k i shoot up to like high 20s almost 30. is this normal? or do i have a issue? the oil im running right now is lucas oil 5w-40.

  12. Hey all giving a little build list for the Spec B I just finished. I bought the car sight unseen from copart, first time I've ever done that. I knew it would come with engine problems so I prepared for that. When I recieved the car i was splendidly surprised on the condition of the interior and exterior. Came from California so its spotless underneath, but did have a good rod knock. Here is the car day one on the trailer
