Good Morning Everyone,
I did a quick search on the AccessPort and came across the WOT/Flickering post, but that doesn't appear to be the issue I'm having.
I installed a full stereo over the weekend. Headunit and front speakers went in Saturday and I drove around and had no issues with the AP. Finished the installation on Sunday, installing the rears and finishing the amplifier installation and rewiring the speakers to feed off the amp through the factory wiring/harness. During testing last night I didn't have the AP installed and everything else in the car was perfectly fine and functional. I get in the spec.B this morning and start driving and I noticed the AP would just go blank and "reboot". Thought it was maybe a loose connection so I unplugged it and made sure it was secure and within a few minutes it rebooted again.
At this point I thought maybe it was stereo/power related... thought maybe it was low power at low RPMs, so I watched to keep the RPMs higher and it still rebooted. Thought maybe it was a power drain issue, i.e. during high power spikes with the subwoofer, but that wasn't it, would still reboot even at low volumes/bass levels. It just seems to randomly reboot now... Anyone heard of this, or have suggestions on where to start?
Since disconnecting the battery cable the engine does stumble occasionally at idle or when I come up to a light after driving. Idle is typically 750-1000, and then it will stumble into the 500 or less range momentarily and then just keep idling fine... No CEL or DAM adjustments on the AP. Car runs great otherwise and everything else works great electrically with the car...

AccessPort is the V3 model.
System sounds great and I have no other issues with anything electrically... just the AP seems to randomly reboot. Doesn't specifically do it when I hit bumps, doesn't specifically do it at low rpm, doesn't specifically do it at high bass notes in the music; I can't seem to find a common point it does it... but it was rock solid reliable before I installed the stereo. ;(
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Kaz
