  2. I would like to thank you other guys though for your input. I know the turndown pipe from the GT headers could be an issue but considering the chasis is the same a few bends and blockoffs should make it so able. Like I said it’s just a toy to mess with not a super street, kneck breaking, fast and furious tuner >.<
  3. Okay yeah I get what you’re saying. At the same time, I’ve built many motors for many different vehicles but never messed with Subaru. I was saying light mods as in just something to pep around in not a full blown street or rally racer. Asking what’s interchangeable and saying MAYBE a turbo is saying... if they are interchangeable what is. As for the turbo, if they’re interchangeable then I MIGHT use a gt setup and run. That’s a big maybe. I know the heads are completely different builds and that the 2.5 doesn’t have the supports inside the chambers to fully support a turbo system. This is a vehicle I obtained FREE and just wanted to mess around with it. Like I said... it was a question of interchangeability. I’m not out to build a 400hp sti sleeper... You can claim to be the resident ass hole but your approach is just arrogant.

  5. Hey so I picked up a 2008 Legacy 2.5 N/A BL. I’ve been doing some research and answered a few of my questions but nothing concrete. I’m wondering.. the 2008 legacy GT is a EJ255 if I’m not mistaken and the standard N/A is a 253. My question is... as far as bolt ons, if I want to lightly mod my N/A “maybe turbo it way later”. Will the GT model mods fit the N/A? Like headers for example. I’m very new to Subaru and wondering if the header flanges for the GT are different from the N/A. Such as spacing between the heads and the actual mounting position. I’m fine with doing custom bracketing and tubing from header back but I’m curious as to if the headers between the two would be a direct fit considering both are 2.5 engines. I’m just not sure if the heads are different as far as external. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
