It has 140,000. It's only happening at 4000rpm and shifts hard in 2nd and 3rd.I'm not sure about automatics so I can't really say anything without a code. There might be a way to diagnose the automatic transmission ive read, i'm not sure on the details.How many miles?

2007 lgt only check engine is for my secondary air pump, bottom hose slipped off.what kind of car is it? turbo.. non turbo ? did you get a check engine light? gotta start with the basics!Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

I was getting on the freeway today and once I hit 4000rpm my engine entirely bogged down. Foot to the floor rpms were creeping up. It has also been shifting very hard.
It seems to run fine under 4000rpm.
Automatic transmission.
Has anyone had this happen and figured out what it was?

It was our starter ground [emoji849][emoji849][emoji849] we didnt even touch the starter so we didnt think about it.First thing is, step back a minute, go back over all the connections, make sure the big gray harness is fully connected, as well as the grounds are all clean and tight.Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

We took off the intake in Hope's to find the oil leak, got everything hooked up and put back now it wont crank and we are getting a run mode system check on the dash. Everything seems to be ground out properly. Any ideas what this could be.

Thank you, the oil has filled that webbing to the brim by the sensor. Fingers crossed it's a simple fix.The plug. But hopefully its the sensor o-ring that's leaking. can you spray the area with some engine cleaner, hose it off and keep a close eye on it.Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

If I'm not mistaken that's where the knock sensor is. Your saying it could be leaking from there???

We have been trying to pin point where the leak is coming from, we have taken off the intake and we noticed oil is pooling up on the driverside by the knock sensor, headgaskets aren't the problem they were replaced with oversized ones 20k ago. Anyone else had this problem? And figured out what it was?

Recently I've gotten a cel p0171 with the occasional misfire in cylinder 2 (ignition coil was replaced 3 months ago in this cylinder) when its under load. Recently we fixed a leaky oil hose and the turbo air intake hose. Before we worked on the car I had a cel for fuel system to rich.
Today when I was coming to a stop the engine shut off. All lights on the dash were on, restarted the car and it started right back up.
I havent noticed a rough idle or anything, just kinda happened out of the blue.
It's an automatic.*
