I’m dealing right now with a Subaru dealership that is blaming all electrical issues, i.e., erratic remote start run times and intermittent cruise control switch operation, on my aftermarket LED heads and fogs. They won’t even continue diagnosis until those are switched back to stock. Now, whether these LED’s are actually the culprit is still a mystery. FYI. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just remember it is generally legal to tint the top 6” of a front windshield. Most windshields have an “AS-1” mark and tinting below that is generally illegal. A decent tint installer can make circular cutouts in front of your eyesight cameras to alleviate the reduction in visibility. But of course any tinting darker than Subaru OE manufacturer tint will reduce the effective range of the eyesight system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Interesting note regarding aftermarket LED headlights, marker lights, and driving lights on my 16 Legacy: I asked the dealership to troubleshoot erratic timing with my remote start run times. They advised the aftermarket LED lights were most likely causing the vehicle to run 5 minutes one time and 14 minutes the next. I was told I’d have to return them all to stock if the issue persists. I returned the markers to halogen stock bulbs and refuse to change my headlights and driving lights back. Oh well... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
