Welcome! These guys on here are a wealth of knowledge!
PS Banjo Bolts and maintenance.....
-
The post itself is strange, OP one post and first responder 2 posts...But where did you dig up euro/jdm wiring diagram?
I was thinking the exact same thing!!!! What in the world is going on here?!
-
Well I loosened up the shifter fork bolt and it seams to have went away. I’ll know more tomorrow when I drive it more but if it doesn’t stop then I’m going back stock too.

The fork to shifter is most likely too tight and/or the shifter is adjusted too short. I would start by raising the shifter to the suggested setting and loosening the shift fork. It only needs like 5 ft. lbs. of torque. That's barely over finger tight.
Well out to the car I go. I know I way over tightened it then! I'll report back!

FWIW, you can drive the car without those heat shields. 90% of mine have been removed for many years. I have not rattles that might can from them.
That big one over the drive shaft was the first to be removed back about 2011.
Yea I have already had 2 rattles I had to chase down because of them, they are probably going soon! I wish this was a heat shield they are easy to deal with.

Ok I've been chasing this sound for a couple weeks and im looking for some input, hoping others have had the issue.
05 LGT wagon. 5MT Did the cobb adjustable STS install. Now I have this crazy rattle in acceleration coming from the shifter. Ive taken it out several times and check the o rings around the bottom, re-greased it, and checked the bolt and tightened it. I'm starting to lean toward changing the original white bushing at the bottom and new O rings, thinking maybe its not seating right with the new shifter. Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated.
Did a search and seams like other people had rattles coming from heat shields and crap. This is directly related to the shifter. You can grab it and it quits, you can move it slightly forward and it quits or lift up on it. Its worse in 2nd and 4th.
EDIT: Yes I did trim the metal plate back for clearance.

Check the intercooler to throttle body hose.

I look at it as a paid for, fun daily car that I can haul my kids in! I know it’s not gonna stop. I wanna do a 6 speed swap so bad I can’t stand it. I still have to get my down pipe on and retune.... I want to do a vf52, injectors and retune in the future, fuel pump is already ordered...

I was really scared to add mine up till I saw some of the 30k totals in this thread!! Now I don't feel so bad at all! I think Im setting around 11K
3000 - 2005 LGT wagon 5mt ( engine pulled in boxes )
4500 - engine build and misc. parts
500 - Leather interior
1500 - JDM Radio kit, Kenwood radio, sub amp, focal speakers.
150 - catless perrin up pipe
300 - cobb down pipe
400 - accessport
200 - Cobb intake
60 - cobb sts
200 - JDM grill
300 - E-tune
11,110 - total
Thats not counting stuff I had or stuff that came with the car in boxes, It was a good buy with tons of poly bushings replaced, stop tech rotors and pads, tein s lowering springs, TGV deletes, new struts, stage 1 clutch, muffler deletes, JDM tail lights, HIDS and LEDS, brand new turbo...... bunch more. When the engine was going together it had a few things that Im sure I have receipts at home if I go look it all back up, but that's close.

I did the IAG one when I put my engine in, its made nice, seams to be really good quality.

Am I the only one thinking that the up pipe cat has come apart and killed the turbo?
-
I was just looking at the IAG one, I need to do this, I think I'm gonna order the VEMS one, may be cheaper to make but there is something to be said for having it come ready made to put on my car and making it a quick job.

My wagon got rear ended a little while back, while it was in the body shop I ask about that. Its made as one part of the bumper and can't be taken off, they have to tape it up to paint.
-
INterested if they're the wagon version.
Same thing I said about this listing on facebook!

Got a boost gauge, just need the halo oil pressure gauge!
-
Im looking for the boost and oil pressure gauges in Prosport Halo. If anyone has some used ones they want to let go of.

I plasti-dipped mine in black on my ABP car. Looks good to me, although I may take it off when I eventually do some wheels on my car. It looks good in black with the black wheels but I don't love black wheels, so eh.
How much did this cost, just out of curiosity?
It wasn’t much. Like $75 to sand prime and paint it.
