This video rocks! Super easy way of changing inner boots without removing axle from wheel hub or transmission. Took me 45 min.
Skip ahead to 5:00 for the action
Just swapped out my torn cv boot using this procedure. Big thanks!

Spotted a dark blue LGT at Gingerman Raceway on May 18 at the Northwoods Shelby event. Sorry I didn't have a chance to stop over to introduce myself.
-
I was just gonna propose a meet there - I go there about once a week already, but haven't seen any LGTs there. Saw a GT-R there a couple times, but no LGTs.

Saw a silver LGT at Taco Grill in Westmont during lunch.
Looks like it had Gunmetal Rota Tarmacs, U of I license plate frame.
I was in my saabaru.
Dead-on description, that was me. I think we might have met before in the Jamba juice lot on 83.
Edit: were you eating there? Cause if so, we must have saw each other inside. Can't believe they were out of chorizo. . .

Saturday 10/02: Silver LGT, Autobahn Race Track.
That was me! Sorry, I don't check in here very frequently. Were you driving or spectating?

Thanks for the help guys. My service manual says 46 ft-lbs for the exact same nut, in three places none-the-less!
Anyways, 118 it is.

Well, I've seen seen service manuals from a few different generation Subaru Legacy's, and all of them have the torque spec in the 45-50 lb-ft range.
-
Bump, someone's gotta know this from experience.

My vacation pics show that the lower bolt on the rear shocks need to be torqued to 46 lb-ft. I see this spec both in the general overview diagram and also the instructions for replacing the shock. Is this correct? I figure the torque spec would be similar to the front strut lower bolts (>100 lb-ft). Anyone have a revised vacation pic which says differently?
