Took it to the dealer. They had it for a week. Replaced the strut mount and cv joint. No help at all, noise is the same and getting worse. I'm hoping it gets so bad it will do it all the time. Super frustrating that it only happens on certain roads. My street has some bumps that make this noise really loud in the morning. Bummed because I love this car otherwise. I'll look into the subframe, but I don't know what that is right now.

I have this same issue. Today, in the morning, about 50 degrees out, I was able to roll the car down a slight hill with the engine off and I heard this noise. Like you said, mine gets better when the car warms up. I do still hear it when it warms up, but not nearly as loud as when it is cold. I am going to put my go pro in the engine bay somewhere and see if I can see where it's coming from.
