  1. I would think that is correct. And if you want the DCCD get a hold of DCCDPRO.

Only other question would be the rear diff ratio......

Everything else should bolt right up I would think

I assume the diff ratio should be the same, since the '07-09 spec. B diff part number is the same as the late MY '07 - 2019 STI rear diff.

  2. I did a lot of reading but not 100% certain. It seems like a +2008 6MT STI transmission should be a direct swap(with exception of DCCD) into a 2007 spec. B. The area around my clutch fork broke and I have to either replace the bell housing or swap in a new transmission:mad:.
  3. Shes a beauty...talk about quick shipping from steamspeed...thanks Christian and Sam for taking care of me...im a very happy customer...cant wait to hear her scream now installing STX71 vs STX67

Wait... are you trying out both turbos on your car?

    The STX67 and STX71?

Or did you replace the STX67 with the STX71?

Was thinking of picking up the STX67 + but what made you think of trying the 71?

  4. hmm - curious about the VDC. Hopefully someone else who actually knows what they are doing will tackle that piece and I can just copy them.

    I'm with you!

    :hide:

I actually looked into the q rack solution back in the day but they didn't recommend it for VDC equipped cars because they couldn't get it to work with VDC.

Time to look into the STI roll connector.

  5. The bar and plate intercooler design, in its entirety not just the endtanks, make them heavy... although the endtanks ARE a part of the extra mass.

With all due respect, an intercooler isn't measured by its ability to absorb heat, it's measured by how efficient it is in reducing the temperature of the input versus its output through air to air transfer.

    Okay.

You still need sufficient thermal mass, to sink the heat, to transfer it to the air. Aftermarket intercoolers are usually designed for the heat demands of uprated turbos.

    That's my only point.
