Did you use the Triple A film over the screen to reduce/eliminate the viewing issue when wearing polarized glasses? Thanks!

I've worn the same prescription polarized sunglasses in multiple cars with navigation/audio screens without issue viewing the screen. This is not the case with my new 2017 Legacy 2.5i. With sunglasses on the nav screen distorts badly. When I touch the screen the distortions move around the touch point. I'm concluding this is an inexpensive screen tech as the moire patterns are reminiscent of outmoded screen tech. Have any other members experienced this screen viewing issue? Fixes, short of trying to find new prescription sunglasses? Thanks.
