Yeah, but for a free oil change, I figure what the heck. I had to go in for the radio/defrost conflict anyway! Also had one of those plastic panel thingies under the car falling off. -
I recently had my oil changed at the dealer along with some warranty stuff. I noticed on their invoice that they 'inspected' the exhaust system, but did not change anything nor did they say anything to me. (I have the $0.58 8 guage wire mod)

I spent $0.86 on washers at Walmart, then $0.58 at Lowe's for some #8 copper wire.

I just went from stage 2 to stage 8! (Stage 8 being a single strand of #8 solid copper conducter) The sound is not noticeably different to my ears, but does seem to be a little more mellow, yet still gives that feedback to the driver.

I have found that a rubber mallet on the end of 3/8" ratchet can get just about any nut going.

Actually I like the idea of keeping the seal on top. Anyone know where to score some extra muffler gaskets? I guess you could just the piece of wire and forget the gasket altogether.
