  1. So far this is the list for spring , I already have most of this laying around on the shelf.

    - Replace S204 oil cooler lines with new oem lines

    - Group N or Superpro bushings for everything

    - STi Pink lateral links and trailing arms

    - 5x114 Hub swap

    - Feal 441 Coilovers 9k/8k spring rates

    - STi or Cusco clutch type R180

    - 18x9 +35 Enkei RCT4 with daily / rain tires

    - 2015 Sti steering rack

    - Spec C power steering pump

    - STi oem short shifter

    - Spec C Version 8 seats

    - Retune with Id1000cc injectors and probably E85

  2. Ordered timing parts and suspension bushings for the Bugeye today to come along with the Legacy suspension.

Just need a few more items then I will have all the parts ready for spring service , I still am debating doing a new R180 LSD as well. There is a local track group that is renting out Mid Ohio on August 28th which happens to fall right on my birthday weekend so I signed up to treat myself to driving a FIA grade 2 track and a nice long weekend !

  3. Well I picked up some deals during the holiday season for both cars

Legacy GT wagon is getting some Spec B Billsteins with STI springs , 225/45/R17 Continental DW tires mounted on 17x7.5 +48 TE37s.

    Bugeye is getting a 5x114 swap , suspension refresh , Feal 441 Coilovers and 18x9 +35 Enkei RCT4.

Now I have to just wait for the other two 18x9 +35 RCT4 to show up as I have had two in storage for over a year now. I also have to stalk feal for more information on their electronic dampening system and hope that they have a tax season sale !

I am leaning towards this color like I did my last set that I was supposed to run and I kinda want to do it for the TE37s as well. All Gold everything or perhaps should I do the TE37s in a nice gloss black ?

  4. Well the Lesbowagon started to pee coolant all over earlier this week but I had saw this coming and ordered a new oem radiator. I then limped it on over to a local dealer and had a friend swap the new one in along with some other service items.

Bugeye got a battery tender too yayyyy

    136,000 miles

    New spark plugs

    New oem radiator

    New O2 sensor

    New Battery

Also fixed a few leaky hoses and such that were annoying.

Old spark plugs looked like they had some serious miles on them , O2 sensor was not really needed but it won't hurt and its one less thing to worry about. Car should be set for a long time now.

  5. Noticed the radiator is to seep a little bit from the top and I have a tiny coolant leak from the top turbo coolant line. Radiator can wait till spring but I will likely replace both oil and coolant lines when I go to do the banjo bolt removal.

I also picked up some 0w40 Castrol Syntehtic and 5w30 Castrol Synthetic for dirt cheap on amazon. Probably will run the 5w30 now during winter and the 0w40 during summer but I may do the 0w40 in winter once I get an oil test back from the 5w30.

Its a wonderful 14 degrees today in Michigan , This is our gass guzzler vip parking area.

  6. Well did a 70/30 split of highway / city driving for 98 miles with my 5at bone stock LGT Wagon and got 20.4mpg which is not half bad considering the stock tune is geared towards emissions.

Dam VF40 was making boost at every hill with cruise control on.

Route of attack is a Topfeed conversion while doing all intake gaskets , Downpipe / uppipe then tuning to increase VE like you have done.

  7. yeah, i try to restrain myself on pushing twinscroll on people. depending on the mods already purchased, it can be an expensive switch, and it is limiting for parts. took me a while to get a DP for my setup, since Moore won't make them unless you have YOUR car in THEIR shop for fabrication. and very few other options.

For me, the OEM parts come with all the things i want, and don't include most of the things i hate. Like the headers: ELH without the large/giant ID of aftermarket parts. i'm not looking for a max HP number, or a large one. would rather have low end Tq. And for the price, can't be beat. except if you already purchased similar single scroll parts/mods at new prices.

And i love the option of being able to run my stock TMIC with my turbo (or STI TMIC, or aftermarket, etc.). yay, options!

and yeah, i still have a set of OEM JDM headers/up/dp for sale. :)

I would assume you can source a JDM LGT downpipe or have one made locally for cheaper if you know good fabricators.

  8. I basically have a habit of ruining my daily drivers so I will refrain from doing it again with this car but the goal is a comfortable daily driver that is reliable so most of the mods will be for reliability sake.

You can find my older build thread for my wrx here as well
