  1. I’m now expert on this stuff but going by amateur’s instinct it’s sounds to me like whatever tune you have now jacked up your air to fuel ratio. Just a guess. I would assume going back to your old tune would fix it unless it’s a mechanical issue which then you would still have the same problem and you could narrow it down to look at air and fuel delivery systems Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. So over the past week my car had gone into limp mode twice, no accelerator reaction at all. All I had to do was turn the car off, wait a minute, then turn it back on and it would operate like normal. So once I got it home I took apart the dash and and connected the self diagnostic tool since I lucked out with that having an 05 LGT. The car was throwing a p0171, p2004, and a p2138. Now, from my research through the forum I’ve found that the p0171 is usually the MAF and that it can also cause a red herring p2138 which in turn cuts the power to the throttle body the second it’s thrown. So I went ahead and replaced my MAF to see if it would fix the issues but also wanted to look at the sensor connections on the TPS and the PPS. When I disconnected the tps connector parts of the plastic just fell apart in my hand so I went and cut off another connector off a junk harness. I could just solder the wires together but I don’t have any experience doing that and I’d rather avoid it. Just want to use the plastic housing from this other connector and re pin my wires into it. Just at a loss with how to de pin this particular connector. I don’t want to be too forceful with it as to damage it. So if anyone knows how to de pin these connectors I’d really appreciate some guidance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. So I’m looking to Retrofit my headlights and I have a list of most everything I’ll need but I’m unsure on the sizes. I’m looking to get a Diode Dynamics HD switchback halo kit but have no idea what size I’ll need as well as some new projector lenses. I’ll either get them custom etched by someone or see if I can do it myself otherwise, but there’s a lot of choices to look at on retrofit sources website and I don’t have enough knowledge to make heads or tails of it. I can say I’m trying to go for something with a similar look to this and most of the work I’ll be doing myself But any info on sizes I need or where to find that info would be greatly appreciated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. My first post after being off the forum for a couple years, but put a full set of PowerStop z26 rotors and pads and replaced a bad rear passenger caliper on my LGT about a week ago. Was a hell of a job. Had a seized bracket bolt on both rears but finally managed to get them off and get the job done. Satisfied so far with the new brakes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
