Hey all,
I haven’t been too active here but thought I would share the supercharger I installed last year and the intercooler kit that I had custom built for it.
So far, no major issues besides the belts rubbing a bit (fixed by machining the bracket to used countersunk bolts). Definitely a great upgrade and love this kit!
Currently working on the full exhaust now with the Fujitsubo kit I have. This intercooled kit is running at 354whp and 297wtq on stock exhaust.
if you want to see more progress, you can see it on my Instagram which is silverflatsix

I believe the 3.6 is still different than the BRZ..

I forgot to mentioned I bought the JDM STI radiator cap and it didn't fit BUT the JDM BRZ cap did fit.

Update: Still have the konis, bought new front struts, Whiteline springs, and STi wheels. Just have to find someone or somewhere I can bring the new struts and front inserts to to do the work
If you're up for the trip, AZP Installs in Kenilworth NJ can do it for you.

That's great news.. I just finished a 3,300 mile road trip and just hit 155,000 in my 15' 3.6r and Discovered my Radiator Cap broke on the Inside, So I recommend you changed the cap.. Just to be safe I'm going to change the Radiator and while the Front End is apart I'm going to Replace Water Pump and All Seals n Gaskets.. Here's the New Cap compared to the Danaged one..

If you want an STI or other aftermarket one. Anything that fits the BRZ will fit the OEM radiator.

This was mine stock from Ed.
It’s weird how some cars have different numbers. I’m getting the exhaust done now and it should be ready by tomorrow. I’m curious what numbers Ed can push out after the exhaust and the intake mod, etc.
2nd graph below is the actual dyno last May.

Well Hell maybe I'll check my Bulbs.. Never Really Noticed but I need to move my speaker boxes to access the bulbs..Wouldn't mind getting the JDM Tail Lights

Yeah I think your bulbs blew man. When I first purchased this car almost 4 years ago I went ahead and swapped them out with the Philips 168 LED ones. I just like the brighter color.

Thank you sir!

I can't offer any technical support with this issue BUT I know 2015-2017 Legacy and Outback were known to have battery drain issues. They actually changed the alternator in 2018 for the 2.5 and 3.6.
Do you have another dealer that you can visit where you are?
Worse case scenario is to contact SOA and explain that your issue isn't getting fixed and they will assign a manager to your case.

Most likely required by DOT for the side marker light needed for USDM

Hi there, are you still doing codes for shipping? I'm in NJ, if not I can try to pickup one day next week.

has anyone tried to fit a wrx or sti solid piece instead of trying to fit the perrin stiffener?
Granted I have a 4th gen, but used a 2015 sti rack with a sti solid piece and it fit perfectly.
I did look into this BUT saw the WRX and STI version was a bit short. However I found that the 99 Outback has a solid link that is similar in size and design.

I’m in NJ as well and did 3M crystalline 70 in the front. No issues yet. It’s been 1.5 years.

I have H&R springs but still have stock front end links,
But if you decide to go coilovers/shocks make sure you get the one that has a mounting hole for the end links.
Yea but I don't know what shocks besides the OEM ones have that mounting hole.
-
For those of you that decided to go with either coilovers, lowering springs, new shocks or inserts, what did you do as for the front end links? I noticed that some coilovers have a mount hole for the front end link and the same goes for the shocks. I also noticed some don't accommodate for that.

Is there a service manual out just yet on the Subaru tech info site?

Curious if you had a 3.6 or a 2.5?
This could be road debris to cause that much damage. You have anymore pics and also which dealer did you use here in NJ?

I believe he said magnaflow

On the passenger side press and hold the window button up while it's closed for about 3-5 seconds and the driver's side will work afterward.
-
Do you know what cylinder the darker ones came from? I replaced mine at 36K just to see if there was a difference. Also are you running premium fuel only?

No issues so far! It's holding up and working well. I have not installed the cooler and it's still going strong.
You can check more but I post on my own instagram. It's @silverflatsix
