  1. Damn...James those lights came out so well. I am super jealous. Is there any more detail on the process of the painting? What parts did NOT get paint on them to make sure the look is correct and function of the lights is preserved...? What material did they use to paint the lenses...? Do you have any wide shots of the whole car? So many questions!
  2. Im all for a little more oomph...Details for me as well. if all i need to pay is $40 bux count me in! any other details to share would be amazing.
  3. My local tire shop did it in two minutes. As long as the sensors are the right type and broadcast in the right frequency range they will read...gtg. I had 17" steelies on my ride and bought 17" wrx wheels. They had the factory tpms sensors still attached. Seamless integration. He came out with a little tool that connects to the Ecu, reads info then read all four tires individually. Then plugged back in. Done. Easy peasy.
  4. I did the exact same. My stock steelies were replaced by the WRX wheels and my tires went straight over...If you got the 18" WRX wheels then yeah all new tires...but if they are like mine the tires go straight across...
  5. I should be able to make this work on my way home tonight. I dont want this thread to die!
  6. I'll report back what happened, gonna get this fixed after work. I hate that indicator in the dash being lit.
  7. Thanks The open nuts dont look bad from 5 ft but id rather get some that have a closed end. Off to Amazon!
  8. Picked up some Fresh Takeoffs from the latest WRX model. Swapped out my factory steelies for the 17x8 +55 rims. Way better look IMO. Question for you guys: TPMS light came on, seems I need to have them re-learned to the ECU ( new rims had factory TPMS sensors still attached ). Dealership or should I go back to the tire shop? Also what are the specs for the studs so I can buy new lug nuts (thread pattern) I have found it listed around at 12x1.25 and 12x1.5 Thanks!
  9. Makes sense. Thanks for the input guys. I do have "A Guy" so I will consult with him and then ill post my findings after no matter what.
  10. Thats great advice! didnt even think about that aspect. Too focused on how pretty I want it... So more like 8.5 wide then to avoid fender work and a square setup...
  11. So Just to re-iterate some info ive gleamed from this thread... 19"s are what most people think should be on the car even after they have bought 18"s. aggressive offsets arent really good for the car...+35 at the most hub bore is 56.1, has anyone had issues with their hubcentric rings? and I do have one question....will a 10" wide rim fit in the back? looking to acquire a 19" staggered setup with about 8.5 - 9.0 wide in the front and 9.5 - 10.0 wide in the back...anyone already work this out? running this fitment? Thanks in advance.
