  1. Is the point on this thread to always have a new challenge? Or, is it time to start repeating stuff as I suspect there are folks on the thread, like me, who have not been here long?

Maybe a week or two of "Sunset/sunrise" photos... or "Angle from ten feet above" or...whatever.

If the truth be know, my Legacy is currently 500 miles away, but I will see it in a day or so....anxious to get beck in and enjoy its wonderful comfort.

    Oh well....

  2. Thanks, I am not certain I understand all this, but maybe someone can handle the details and I will post only photos of my Legacy as the rules suggest.

So, if one of you can take over the challenge, put up the scores, I will attempt to add some eye candy as time permits.

And, for my "non-qualifying" photos, I will possibly start a thread on photography of vehicles, if this is something forum members would find helpful.

Again, thanks for the opportunity to be a forum member....

  3. Well, I appreciate the honor, and I will be posting some more stuff....for car fans, at Road America this year I will be capturing the Vintage cars running in mid May...maybe some old Subus, and the Brian Redman Vintage thing...or what one could call the vintage cars of the MMG crowd, and then the Indy Cars... For airplane fans, the big fly in at Oshkosh....will be doing this too. If one likes aluminum trailers, i.e., Airstream, this is what I pull with a truck, and attend a lot of rallies.

My Legacy should fall into some sunrise and sunset shots, so it will change colors....LOL

    :needpics:

  4. Not a chance.....LOL

It is post processed from a RAW file, in Lightroom 5.7. The essential issues are changing the color balance to more blue...spookier, and adapting the shadows so as to produce more of the car jumping off the page. Also, note the fog lights and high beams are on.....this is done in the computer, but in the final analysis it should look like ti was shot that way.....

I do this with race cars, etc. as in this shot of Paul Menard in the Xfinity Series at Road America last year:

And, as long as this is the photo page, sort of, here is one where the entire sign had to lighted in Lightroom, as electrical problems prevented getting the sign to work. Again, the idea is to have it look as if it was done only in camera.

And there you have the answer....
