  1. The offset on the Miro's seems way too aggressive with the limited widths they offer. I don't want to do any mods to the fenders to make them fit.
  2. Thanks. They are the MGP caliper covers. I had intentions of painting the calipers but in the days leading up to the weekend I set aside to paint them, I kept looking at the calipers and thought they are not the nicest looking calipers. Next is the wheels. I have finally narrowed it down to three choices in 19x8.5 between the Enkei TSP6, TSW Mirbeau or Miro 111, all in silver.
  3. With the nice weather here in NY that past few days, I finally spent a couple of days buffing out by hand the horrible buffer swirls left behind from the previous owner. The car was hideous to look at in the direct sunlight. Now the paint is smooth as glass and the finish is deep and swirl free. http://i413.photobucket.com/albums/pp217/sts-v/car%201_zpsc1ci49oi.jpg http://i413.photobucket.com/albums/pp217/sts-v/car%202_zpsquwpiw5e.jpg
  4. I have the same noise when I make right turns on very cold mornings. It makes the noise even when its been completely dry out for days. The noise seems like its coming from the upper right of the rear window. It sounds like someone snapping a huge towel.
  5. This is my Cannondale Prophet 3Z. Its all stock except for the Mavic Crossmax ST wheels and the shin cutter pedals. And yeah, my old butt needs a gel cover on the seat. It has served me well and hopefully will continue to do so for many more years. There is no major technical trails around me but there is a lot of fast single track that has some nice natural steps and some root bound and rocky downhills. This bike eats it all up with no problems. http://i413.photobucket.com/albums/pp217/sts-v/43BD2BF8-F959-49AC-8CC6-7E0047120165_zpspbh7vid4.jpg http://i413.photobucket.com/albums/pp217/sts-v/59A53EC1-9F08-4D4C-A35B-A503EF6E5228_zpsqmsffjq9.jpg http://i413.photobucket.com/albums/pp217/sts-v/7FA66880-7AED-41F5-9E96-3E8CA3C22E7F_zpsit7gc9eg.jpg
  6. I would have to say if you are sensitive to loud noise for extended periods of time like a long highway trip, stay away from the Nameless. They do definately make thier presence known. I have been around loud cars my whole life so i have no problem with the noise. From what i have read, the Nameless is one of the loudest exhaust's out there for the 3.6. I still need to ride behind my car while someone else drives it to see what it sounds like outside the car.
  7. 5" Nameless axle back. It has a nice smooth low frequency sound. From idle to around 1900 rpm with a light foot around town its slightly noticeable inside the car. From 2000 to 3000 rpm on the highway under load, it still has that low frequency growl but it gets loud inside the car. I wouldn't call it drone, just sweet music from the tailpipes. You definitely need to turn the radio up at this point. Quiet again from 3000 to 4000 rpm then it screams again above 4000 rpm. It almost sound like a detuned Porsche GT3 if you have ever heard one. I have no idea what it sounds like outside the car but people do turn to look. http://i413.photobucket.com/albums/pp217/sts-v/285BA414-F7AC-47AA-9031-96ADD68725EC_zpszku518o8.jpg Here is a link to a short Photobucket video taken on my iPad. I don't know how embed the actual video here. Click on the pic and it will take you to Photobucket. Play it loud with the bass turned up a little. http://i413.photobucket.com/albums/pp217/sts-v/th_Exhaust_zpshe2igvvi.mp4
