Sti makes a Gen 6 Strut bar, I don't know any vendors in the U.S. that stock it. I bought mine from http://www.japanparts.com and was at my door in 10 days. Good Luck.. Quality over Price..[emoji2369]

I replaced mine from stock. 5 minute job. I believe the rear covers come off clockwise if I remember.

I like the OSRAM XENARC 66440's better for visibility, (mine), in rain.

So, either 88.5 ft/lb or 85 ft/lb. It's virtually the same. Unless you're working with NASA's tools, that's well within the margin of error for any normal torque wrench. Set it to 90 or a hair less, and torque away. Bubba's pneumatic tools down at the garage are probably +/-10% (if youre lucky).

88.5 is from the 2016 Legacy Owners Manual, page 12-9.

Even without pushing the car, the sway bar made a huge difference for me. I came from an Alfa Romeo and 2 BMWs that always felt anchored to the road.

Since the Legacy isn't really designed as a sport sedan it feels a bit light. (Of course my wife loves her forester and always HATED driving my European cars).

I agree. The factory all-season tires are useless in snow.

 

Upgrade to better all-season tires or a set of winter tires.

I did the same. I use 17" Blizzaks for winter tires. More sidewall to better avoid DC potholes.

There are people on the SS forums who put three child seats in the back seat. So arguably it's a better family sedan than the Legacys that don't have center LATCH anchors.

The 2016 Legacys have 3 latch anchors.

My 2016 came with one. It's resting in the tool well now.

I was actually talking about disabling the programmed fake shifts. Just thought it would be fun to have continuous acceleration sometimes and actually take advantage of gearlessness.

Does this update rectify the issue of my iPhone not displaying song/artist info off Spotify when plugged into USB? My ‘15 Legacy with the H/K nav headunit has never (since I’ve owned it) never displays the info on my screen when I’ve got my iPhone 7 plugged in. I’ve updated my phone software to the most recent and nothing changed. I’ve spoken to my dealer and they keep pleading ignorance, super annoying! Mind you, everything works fine over Bluetooth. Further (don’t know if related) when I go to use Waze or google map on my phone while plugged into usb, it seems my phone is unable to accurately find my location. If I unplug from usb, problem solved. Wanted to check in and see if anyone else has experienced this so I can perhaps learn how to rectify the issue.
