Yeah, I'm talking about the thin insert for the "unused" rail that quiets them down. The thin little things.

OD? I'd have to measure but it's the stock ones. Would like these: http://www.prolineracks.com/mont-blanc-3700-aero-wing-crossbars.html Are these ours even though they sea *NEW*? http://www.prolineracks.com/mont-blanc-3700-crossbars.html

Can I just use electrical tape? I have expired credit cards, how do you mean cutting them?

Anyone know where to get the plastic (or is it rubber) strips to quiet the Mont Blanks down? Went to their site and noticed they have an (aero) bar rather than the square one. Anyone know if they have a distributor in the states?

Correction, I might have forgoten to cut the cables under the steering wheel column and the car don't shift while in D. I put it in SPORT and it behaves normal, push to shift up and it does but it won't shift down. Got to get under there later and cut the two wires though I think it's mainly #7 -

Finally, after soooooo much wait and asking, I finished this mod just now and love it!!! -
I would say yes. Did hear it just a light "tad-tad" but I think the lower inserts we can't use are part of the equation and also I yet to install the auto trany insert. I am pushing down alot of power and lowered so I believe the problem will be fixed for at least 95% to 98% of the people here. Was out for a little bit (breaking in the rotors for the front Brembos) so I'll do a more extensive test later on. I wonder if the whole STi lower brace will fit the Leg GT (looks lighter than ours) since the Impreza suspension is based on the LegGT. I will see if in the dealer I can get them to take out one and try it on my wagon. There is also the part from Beatrush to consider though the bushings will be a cheaper alternative: http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=15720

Goodnews and bad news!! The bad first: The two that go in the lower support that go face to face don't fit as the bushings we have are "solid". TIC: Borrowed this pic: http://turninconcepts.com/forums/reardiffinsert/content/bin/images/large/DSC00021_copy.jpg Two of the four fit so maybee you can talk to Whiteline to see if they make a "half kit" fot the US LGT/OBXT. Wonder if I can get an 08 Impreza to buy just these two. The good news: Take off the nut with a 17mm dogbone wrench (helps if its ratcheting like mine). http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii248/Leonardocal/DSC00594.jpg You can see they look like they match!!!! http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii248/Leonardocal/DSC00596.jpg Helps a bit if you lube it before shoving it in. http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii248/Leonardocal/DSC00597.jpg IT FITS!!!!! http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii248/Leonardocal/DSC00598.jpg Put the washer on and replace the nut and tighten. http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii248/Leonardocal/DSC00599.jpg Repeat on the other side. http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii248/Leonardocal/DSC00600.jpg Driving impresions to come later. Of note: The instructions also mention BL/BP fitment. Pace your orders, install and enjoy!!! As thanks, you guys can do this for me: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95177

How to Install Steering Wheel Radio Controls
Leonardo replied to trabbic's topic in Walkthroughs :: Performance Modifications
Cool! I took off the airbag and plugged them in (without doing the wiring) and yes, they didn't work but the illumination turned on. Maybe I can skip a wire or do I still have to plug in all 4 to the back of the radio? -
Checked the wires, they were fine. Did a couple of tests and noticed it was a bad horn. Took it out but now I can't tell if it's the hi tone or low tone. DOH!!!

Still looking for an 05 wagon (black leather) that wants cloths. If not, after I fix my front end, I'll go with CST. -
Going to pull everything apart tonight and look for this!
