Hi so I’m going rotated turbo and I see that ETs makes a nice setup, now will the 08-2014 kit fit my car without any modifications? I own a 2005 legacy gt wagon with 6speed swap
-
Aeromotive gen 2 1000 is probably going to be my choice.. I’m still researching fuel regulators and turbos and thanks for the info!
-
Alri so what’s a good fuel pressure regulator and Precision turbo good for 450hp ??

So many 6 speed swaps now I’m happy to be one coming from a auto trans and now I have a perfectly 6speed swapped subi that I did in my garage! Wiring harness, steering column, pedal assembly etc I literally spent over 10k to get my car on the ground but that includes a bunch of up grades.. all worth it. Recently my timing belt jumped some teeth gunna get on that as soon as I find out what timing belt kit to go with

Also ide like to know if the parts I mentioned will still work with my stock intake manifold? And since I plan on doing parallel fuel lines will I run in to any problems? And to safely max this stock block out what turbo should I use?
-
I don’t have a tuner yet I plan on collecting all the parts I need then finding a reputable tuner to get me going. But the AEM is the one people are getting? What about the aeromotive 325 stealth? Hear anything good about that one?

For future motor build I also plan on going bigger turbo e85 front mount and intake manifold. Slowly but surely. What hp are you pushing?

So on Friday I’m ordering some parts I just wanna make sure I’m going at it correct. So I’m on a stock block stage 2 on Cobb accessport with Cobb up and downpipe along with there intake box, I also have a HKS exhaust from the downpipe back. I want to start upgrading my fuel and intake components so I plan on buying the top mount IAG TGV deletes and IAG top mount fuel rails. Now can I still use my intake manifold with this setup? I also plan to do a parallel fuel system with all this. Any input will help!

Well finally finished my car and it drives great but damn these gears are short lol. I still need suspension and I’m planning on going with longer gears to enjoy the ride a little more. But thanks everyone for the support and help along the way!

I guess this is the immobilizer. Do you have the key security light on after inserting the key?
I don’t remember seeing the security light on I’ll che j again when I go in the garage to try fixing the problema

I'll second this. Also, what do you mean by 'it shuts off as soon as I crank'....as in it won't let it crank or it fires up and instantly dies?
Pull a coil offer, slap a spare plug in it and put the spark plug against the cylinder head while cranking. You'll see the ark if you have ignition.
Next is check fueling. You can crank and if you have the means to inspect the ports, see that they're wet. There are other means to check voltage to the injectors.
Before that, you can validate that you have fuel pressure by pulling the feed line, grabbing a vessel and keying-on.
Double check that your MAF is connected and oriented in the correct direction.
Vacuum leaks will usually allow you to fire up but will run like crap or die very quickly.
Ok so now it starts but dies rite after, and the locks on the door don’t work along with key fob,

Ok car won’t street I did the harness swap everything turns on but dosent turn over?? And it shuts off as soon as I crank it????

Yeah so the two wires coming from the 6 speed transmission I need to replace from the 5 speed transmission? And if I don’t have those two wires dose anyone have a part number or know anyone that has the parts I need
-
Got a question for everyone that’s done a swap from 5 speed to 6 speed. So once I got the trans in I noticed my wire connectors from the harness and trans don’t click together is there a harness I can get to connect the two?
