I was on Whitelines website and they had the stiffer bushings for the Manuals but not the 5EAT. Then I found the Rallitek for the 5EAT. Is this the one you used, battelready? I'm curious if it would work on my 2011 Legacy. I get a clunk when I throttle hard and it's quite annoying. I also have the Whiteline Rear Diff inserts to do but want to know if this helps as well, without any NVH. This is my daily.

And you don't even have the SC, right? -
Okay, I think I got this straight. Buy a WRX catback, Raptor headers. Then have it custom fabricated from the headers with two hi-flo cats (because the Raptors will melt them like the fires of Mount Doom) into a Y-Pipe with a flange. Which then connects to the extension of the cat-back and the extension would basically be a ultra quiet resonator. Correct?

I did look through pics and threads of what ItalianLegacy and Perscitus did with their exhausts. I don't really plan on going full headers back yet because of the price. I know the headers alone are $600. My biggest expense coming up will be wheels and tires when my stock A/S wear out so trying not to go crazy with exhaust yet. (trying to make a mental yearly budget in my head so I don't go crazy and have my gf kill me ) I mostly just want a better sound and to increase some of the flow then have the TCM and ECM tuned. I'd be extremely happy with a small bump in power, as well as a nicer sound, quicker shifts and the lack of the throttle lag. It's quite a nuisance at this point, every time you hit the gas, there's a brief pause then a kick, haha. I like the "resell to Civic owner" Hahaha

That's what I was kind of thinking. That custom fab is cheaper. I've never had one done before. How much did they do for $600?
-
That's what I figured. It needed some kind of extension or removal. But for that price, I might consider it. A Magnaflow is about $900.

How much more you think those connecting rods will take? Haha. I guess you'll never know if you don't try. I'd love to see the show but CT is quite a drive from here. -
Came across this: SPT Performance Catback Exhaust Only $575. Have to mess with the hangers to get them to look right on a Legacy. It needs shorten to fit the 3.6R, correct?

Yeah, you're right. I thought they had more of a chrome like finish. -

Actually GT...mines black, haha. Only a few pics of it NOT covered in salt, atm. http://i.imgur.com/AaDKSxu.jpg I think you're right anyways. Browsing TireRack there's not a lot that IMO, look great (for black, it has to be gunmetal wheels) I don't like flashy. I really like the look of the TSW Nurburgrings but those I can't find in that size and bolt pattern. So Raijins it is! The 18x8.5's are on TireRack and $218 isn't bad. -

*ding ding ding* Zee is correct. Now, I know what you guys are probably gonna say but...should I find some cheap Enkeis or go and get something like TSW's? I'm not gonna spend more than $250-300 a wheel though because I'll be getting some new rubber at the time. I know I'll save in the long run by being able to switch out sets in the driveway vs having them mount and balanced twice a year. -

Well the picture I linked was those specs, plus they had coilovers (unsure how low it was) I just wasn't sure about the offset to prevent rubbing when turning. This is my first car that I'm actually buying wheels for and not just repairing stuff that breaks -

Awesome, thank you. I don't really plan on going lower. If I do, it'd be less than an inch. -

I've been looking at wheels just so I have an idea of how much it's gonna cost when the time comes. I think I've got it down to a size I feel looks good. 18x8.5 on 245/45/18: http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=163664&d=1379885520 Was looking at 40's but I feel the extra 5 would keep some of the cushion and fills in the wheel arches a bit better. I've always felt the car needed some bigger tires and wheels. I'm not sure on the offset though. Any thoughts? -

ItalianLegacy, how's the engine holding up? Edit: On a serious note, someone did use custom rods in a 3.0L H6: http://blog.perrinperformance.com/perrin-h6-build-up/ -

This is why I've decided I'm just gonna do axle backs and be content with that, haha. What's the total amount on the whole exhaust? $600 headers, $1200 mid pipe with cats and $900 for cat back? -

2011 Subaru Legacy 3.6R Limited/Crystal Black Silica (w/ spoiler lip and splash guards) Age: 25 Location: Vermilion, Ohio Subarus Owned: This is the 2nd. First one was a 91' Legacy L. Auto and FWD. Headgasket blew. Trans was shifting rough, back struts were shot. Needed a lot of work. I was sad to scrap it. Mileage: 40k miles. Occupation: Pizza Chain Store Manager Mods: So far just a K&N filter. Looking at wheels, different grill, an axle-back muffler, and some Whiteline differential bushings for next year. Later on, transmission cooler, 19-22mm RSB, not sure which yet and a retune for 93 Octane. -
I've been wondering about two things. 1.) I've noticed a few members use aftermarket transmission coolers. Are these just something you'd use if you track your car? 2.) not really a 5EAT question but my car has a noticeable thunk when you hit the gas quick, guessing it's the differential bushings? I've seen the white line kit and wanted an opinion on it. It seems like a good idea to stiffen it up. The WRX diff moves quite a bit. Wasn't sure if the Leggy was the same way, just how it works stock.

http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop/product/inv-hs10sl1gtt-invidia-n1-cat-back-exhaust-titanium-tip?ymm=2010-subaru-legacy-2-5gt-2-5 Hmm, looks pretty good. The tips on those are nice. Nameless axle backs are like 450 for the mufflers so this seems pretty doable. Get some raptor headers. From what I read the headers to the cat have to be custom fabricated? -

I've been trying to decided whether to get the Nameless Muffler Delete or the 4" or 5" muffler. I wanna hear it more but I don't want to wake everyone in the apartment complex every time I come home late at night, haha. What's your 2 cents on which one to get? -

Is it just me or is the does the Liberty appear to have a better paint job than the Legacy? Saw another member with the silica black and I thought, "Man, look at that shine..." Also, If the outside is that nice, I can't imagine the interior.
