  1. Hi, Could you confirm me that ATF service change oil in the gearbox but in the torque converter too ? and what do the Control Valve Body ? Thanks by advance
  2. I'm very surprised to see rear wheels not vertical ??? how the tire don't be "destroyed" quickly ??? I've seen many other cars pictures with unvertical rear wheels
  3. this one is less audi lol http://speedhunters-wp-production.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/japan7.jpg
  4. mine is a 3.0 5EAT, is it bad ? as 3.0R have - instead of ○
  5. it's wonderfull ! it's wonderful ! like the song lol thanks
  6. here is translate from DAMD https://translate.google.fr/translate?sl=ja&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=fr&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.damd.co.jp%2Fproducts%2Fsubaru%2Flegacy01_bm.html%23a&edit-text= Front bumper seems only for D~F :icon_cry: side and rear are A~F !
  7. yes very Audi like but it seems it is only for BP but they look similar with BL for the front part of the kit ?
  8. I've seen many times A-C or D-F : what does it designate ? My head light don't bother me I can keep them, the JDM ones are cool but if not easy to change or find ...
  9. I had not seen the headlight difference The japan legacy fender are different than the US or european ones ? We speak about the large metal body part around the wheel ? sorry I'm french if right I won't change it because I can't weld so I'm stuck
  10. here is mine http://image.noelshack.com/minis/2016/18/1462740946-327319495-1311459922-big.png
  11. Hi, I'm wondering if this kit ( especially the front bumper ) http://www.damd.co.jp/products/subaru/legacy01_bm/images/photo01Big.jpg can be used with my european ( ? ) 2005 sedan Seems possible looking the 2 pictures BUT i guess it is maybe not as easy thanks by advance
  12. I know this video and it is very good but at low RPM does the Legacy's torque converter can drive 100 yards or maybe 1 miles without being totally coupled / locked up ?
  13. Hi, I'm wondering how work the 5EAT torque converter :i s it like a manual clutch with a quick but progressive decoupling of each "side" from ON (1st) to OFF ( for changing the gear ) to ON (2nd) or is there a much more longer decoupling of each "side" I'm aware there is a 100% coupling position like a manual clutch BUT for example I experienced a strange thing : in 5th at 40m/h I stay at 2000 but if I brake just a little the RPM goes to 1500 and if immediately I release the brake and drive again at 40 I stay at 1500 RPM whithout any change of the gear ?????? Another example : in 5th at 50m/h at 2500 RPM if I release the accelerator 15 sec for example the RMP falls to less than 1000 RPM always in 5th ??? Thanks by advance
  14. in DRIVE I'm wondering if the gearbox is in neutral during the "latest downshifts" ( 2>1 and maybe 3>2 ) because I'm lower than 1000 rpms and don't feel there is an engine brake If I'm wrong do you mean there two levels of shifting one stiff ( SPORT and DRIVE ) and another very smooth ? Does the Torque Converter produce these levels and how ? a TC is sealed and have no electric or hydrolic parts inside if I'm not wrong.
  15. Hi guys, two questions : #1 when I'm close to a stop for example ( in manual mode ) i have a shake when I downshift ( 3>2 or 2>1 ) even if I'm around 1000 rpms and a little lower rpms too but if I wait the auto downshift ( in manual mode ) I have no shake so is it normal to have a shake in manual mode and I have to use the auto downshift or is it a sign of ATF need to be changed ? #2 when I'm in SPORT if I turn on CRUISE the SPORT logo disappear but the gear shifts seems different than D ( looks similar to SPORT ) and I can see the number of the gear used like MANUAL; have you ever note this ? there is no indication in the owner manual ...
  16. Hi, Is it possible from MANUAL mode to jump to SPORT without using DRIVE just a second and go to SPORT ?
  17. that's it : manual with hydrolic/electric command But not : I've foung the service manual so it is a gear box with torque converter but even with the service manual it seems a little complex to understand the tech lol
  18. As robotised don't used ATF ( I'm not 100% sure ) I presume the legacy don't use an robotised.
  19. Strategic good advise ! What is the kind of gearbox tech for a 2005 Legacy 3.0 ? CVT; Torque converter with Planetary gears train or maybe a mecanic robotised but I guess it won't need ATF so it must not be a robotised ? I often read "Prodrive" is it just for the ones with shift palet on wheel or another tech ( what it is ? ) used on all the 5EAT ? Thanks by advance
  20. ok and 3 different kind of viscosity for transmission and the two diff or same for all of them ?
  21. ok thanks I had not seen the was RPMs higher. Another small question : the gear box oil is the same for the all the transmission because I 've just bought mine and want to make a complete service as the former owner was not aware of the last service for everything ... but good price and seems to works good ! There is just the engine oil and gearbox oil to change or a third one ?
  22. Hi guys, When the car is cold and when I pass to D mode the car move forward "stronger" than when the car have made few kilometers. Is it normal or a bad sign of the oil gear box need to be changed. When the car is cold and for example when I'm at a stop the car seem to be in pain to not move forward ...
