  1. Are people still planning on going to Boneyard east tonight?
  2. Here in N. Royalton, all the cruisers are FWD Chevy Impalas -- except for the odd Expedition and the two H-D Motos. I asked one of the officers about the Impalas, and he said they're actually pretty decent. Quicker than the old Crown Vics, more fuel efficient, and very reliable. I guess you can't ask for more than that.
  3. Guys: Having passed all three tests in a ridiculously short time period, I'm fully committed to coming out next Wednesday night. Anybody else in?
  4. I know who it is; he's 'Hotrodwagon' on here, but I don't think I've ever seen him on the forum. Last year, we were both doing contract work at LCCC in Elyria. We pulled into the parking lot at the same time. It was funny.
  5. I'm out, I;m sorry to say. I haven't covered enough material, #1, and my wife will have a long and miserable ride home tonight, so I'll be getting the kids early. In two weeks, I'll be there.
  6. My status has moved to 'definite-maybe' for tomorrow's GTG at Boneyard. I found out yesterday that I need to take three tests (or, PASS three tests) so my company can attain a certain partnership level -- by the 19th. Nothing like letting us know at the last possible moment. So I'm barricaded-in, studying my a$$ off for the first test, which is this Friday. The second test is next Thursday; the final, and most difficult test, is next Friday. Bad times.
  7. I'm still looking for someone to graft on a set of cans to my stock exhaust -- at something less than the $600+ that the likes of AVO want -- just for mufflers. If anyone knows of anyone... :-) I tried contacting the three people suggested on Forced4s, but none of them ever answered my requests for more info. [shrug]
  8. I'll stop in for a little while. I Always like meeting new folks... Getting there from here (across 480 at rush hour) might be a bit of a challenge, but I'll work it out.
  9. I was dropping off one of my co-workers who lives on Frank. He asked me, "What, is it like the Subaru Legacy Brotherhood, or something...?" Something like that. And he should know, because after spending so much time in my car (we carpool a lot to Warren), he bought a Tribeca.
  10. I didn't know there was a Boneyard over there. The only one I knew of is 5 minutes from my house in B'view Hts. Maybe I'll pop over there next Wed. I just hope it wont be like when I went to meet up with some of the Forced4s at QS&L last summer, only to find that no one wanted to talk to the old guy in the wagon. Only one guy came to talk to me, and told me that it was good to see some "older guys" showing up in "family cars." For measure, I'm 37, but I felt like I raised the median age there by *at least* 10 years. I laughed a lot, and said it was time for me to go; I had take out my dentures.
  11. I should be free most of Friday. I live on the west side, but I grew up, essentially at Cedar & Green. I worked at Dunn Hardware while in high school, when it was across the street. Let me know. Ross 440-six-zero-six-six-8-1-five
  12. Today I saw a white LGT sedan with tinted windows and HIDs at the intersection of White Pond and Frank in Akron. Anyone?
  13. I flashed a white LGT with either no grille, or a black mesh grille on 303 in Hinckley the other day; he flashed back. Any takers?
  14. OK. I think I know the deal here. I think we're talking about two different cars. The one by the boneyard, I believe, is Hotrodwagon's car. His is black, has Stromung mufflers (loud as hell), a big dent in the right rear quarter, and some fancy 4-piston red calipers. I think his is a Cobb Stg. II rig. We were actually at the same job site, both doing IT work together when we pulled in next to eachother. It was kinda' funny. He lives in Broadview, and I think he lives in Stoney Run. I was trying to figure it out, because I haven't been to a Shell station in a long time.
  15. The Stoney Run bit is a little confusing, because I don't know what that is. The 'house on Bennett by Valley Parkway' part, does make sense. That's my house.
  16. Does it look like this? http://www.twitpic.com/stvsl/full If so, that's mine. In spite of lots of people asking me, it's actually not lowered. I'd hate to think how much I would smash the trailer hitch even more than I do now if I lowered it. I have the winter (stock) wheels back on it now. 109k miles and counting... Thanks!
  17. I've been doing contract work at UH for the past 8 months. I'm there usually once a week; I park in the Cornell Garage. I see a white STi parked in there almost every time I'm there, but so far I have the only LGT I've seen in there.
  18. I parked diagonally from an OBP '05 LGT wagon with Prodrives and DBA brakes at Lowe's in Strongsville last weekend. Anybody here?
  19. I've tried registering twice, but I never get a password e-mailed to me. It's certainly not the first time I've tried registering for a board/list/forum. Anybody know what gives?
  20. I've *never* datalogged because: 1. I don't know how to. 2. I don't know what it'll do for me. I know there there has to be a myriad of information on this matter here on this board. I've just never committed the time to looking for it. Work, family, yardwork, other hobbies... 'Ya know...
  21. This was an all-stock looking charcoal gray. So maybe it was an '07. I regret to admit that I haven't kept up on the LGTs after I got mine. I got it 9/05, and it was tricky to find. I specifically wanted an ABP wagon with black leather. 57k miles later, I (mostly) still really like it. Being my 5th Subaru, I'm not suprised at some of the typical niggling BS. A good friend of mine just got a new Audi S4 Avant. It's really, really nice. But I don't think it like it more than twice as much as my car.
  22. I don't speak up often around here... I'm just on too many different lists/boards with not enough time to contribute in any meaningful way. Be thankful. I grew up on the east side, but moved to the southwest side due to some spousal... persuasion. Yeah, that's it. In the meantime, there was a gray '06 (I think) sedan this morning that I diced with on I-77 south towards Akron. I'm sorry to say that he schooled me. Either he's had some work done on his car, or mine sucks. I'd guess that we both grabbed 4th gear and mashed on it -- unless his is an automatic. He left me for dead. Weird.
  23. ... Well... Let's see. I was in University Hts. this morning, right over by JCU. I work in Oakwood Village. I live in N. Royalton. I'm surprised I haven't seen y'all either. BOLO for ABP/Black LGT Ltd. wagon. Disabled DRLs, de-baged, 20% tint on all the windows.
