haha gotcha. I guess the better question is does it have dual zones so let's say if you had passenger in the back you can do another screen to allow them to watch movies while you have control of GPS upfront?

Has anyone tried this on a 2007 Legacy 2.5 SE yet. I just got the car last saturday and saturday night went out there. Pulled the white plug to the left the black one and it worked, But I noticed i my high beams stopped working too so had to plug it back in. Anyone know how i could disable the DRL on this car?

I believe someone did, and if I am not mistaken you have to cut the brown wire since Subaru made it a single plug for 2007.

LOL I was on the street. I work on 37th street. Just picked up some lunch and was heading back. I thought wow that is the first white LGT I have seen, i'll have to post that on the LegacyGT when I get to the office

 

By the way next time make a right on 37th street. Takes you straight to the tunnel and you totally avoid the madness of 34 street

I actually always take 39th st, but I was on my way to 31st street since 39th was so packed. I should have taken 37th since everywhere it was packed.

It is great to know that it is me since it is hard to see another white LGT in NYC.

wow. 2 spottings in 1 day.

 

This time, I spied a white LGT with tint idling on 45th st in Manhattan. 2 guys inside chit-chatting. Couldn't stop - way too much traffic.

I was in Manhattan today around that area, and I have a White LGT, but I have a bike rack on top. I spotted a Atlantic Blue wagon in Queens on 108th Street and LIE the other day. He had tints and we both glanced at each other.

Oh sorry about that. I need to get a 1 OHM 60 Watt resistor, which are harder to get, and I have been somewhat busy recently. For the blue light I believe the cable needs to be tapped further up from it, but that is going to be a little bit more of a challenge from looking at the diagrams.

The high beams are as bright as any GM car during DRL's operation since they are running at 12.5 Volts. I liket to bring them down to 10 V, and that is why I need the resistor.

I will work on this once again when the weather gets warmer. Too much damn snow out there.

I did the DRL delete mod and installed my HIDs 2 days ago. Now I am looking for and way to have DRL either on the fogs or high beams (DRL are mandatory here in Canada, and I believe in there usefullness...).

 

Do you think I could do this mod to use the fogs as DRL???

Spotted Silver GT in Syosset LI today around 3:30 PM. It had tints and no wing. I was the white one with HID's and tints.

Does anyone know where the proximity switch on the e-brake is? I am thinking of tapping into that and installing a switch for more selective DRL removal with options.

What do you want to do? Add a switch to turn them on and off? If so then switch out the brown cable in the drl plug that gets disconnected (white plug) I am doing research to enable teh high-beams as DRL's and tonight I found some more info that I will be posting in the high beam drl thread.

By the way..on another note I found the spot to test the springs. The roads are pretty bad so we can test the harshness and its also curvey so we can also test the handling.

We have tried befor to get an NYC meet going but i have no clue what happened to them best bet is a palisades mall met on like a saturday planed in advance.

OK fair enough. I am down to meet at the palisades mall. There are so very few legacy's GT's around here that it would be nice to see a few together. I am down for whatever.
