The engine was louder on the 5th Gen, but the cabin was quieter. Those frameless windows were noisy!

I've had both 5th Gen and now a 6th Gen legacy and they get quieter every generation.

:facepalm: it’s called a continuous variable transmission for a reason. Shifting would imply that it changes ratios by changing gears. The CVT goes up and down but it never shifts. However so many people complained about the 5th gen’s CVT seamless acceleration (I loved it) that Subaru implemented fake shift points for the 6th gen.

There’s no shifting with a CVT. Only fake shift points.

I've had good experience with Safelite, but never had a camera calibration done. Florida is also a state that has windshield covered by default. I am scared of the dealership by me. They have scrattched, dented and messed up my previous cars. I now travel 20 miles away to a different dealership.
