  2. Painted http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/JDMBumper5.jpg http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/JDMBumper6.jpg
  3. I think it's a stock one not sure... Thanks man it means a lot to me when complimented and recognized. The trans is good now and for sale... Thanks bro, I can always count on you to be involved in my thread I ruined my last bumper one drunken wedding night back in November. My best friend since the 8th grade. I have 2 of them actually but anyways I was drunk the wife picked me up went to sober up, cam back a couple of hrs later took the car out and made a wrong turn. It was dark and I made a 3 point turn and went to far forward and ran up onto a curb. Being low on coils didn't help either. I lucked out and happen to have a leggy spec B buddy that sold his leggy and had this bumper for sale. Got it for a great price and it came with a lip already. Just painted it today and should have it on tomorrow...
  4. All the parts for the 5spd Manual Swap came from this wrecked in a roll over 03 WRX. http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/WreckedWRX.jpg This became the parts car to make it happen. We used the: Tranny, front diff, Rear diff (made out as it turned out to be a Posi diff), Front and rear axles had to customize them and use the 03 wrx axles with 05 LGT ends, Had to fabricate a custom cross member, Master clutch cylinder and reservoir, wrx starter, pedal assembly, shifter, had to add to and redo my custom 1 piece aluminum driveshaft, Went with a Falcon Kevlar Clutch, more gear oil, removed the remote start and aftermarket alarm and turbo timer and I think that was it lol. I need a tune bad as it's throwing a lot of codes. Will try to get more pics... Kevlar Clutch http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/KevlarClutch.jpg
  5. http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/JDMBumper1.jpg http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/JDMBumper3.jpg http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/JDMBumper2.jpg
  6. Yes will post those soon but still need to paint it the same color as the car. I picked up the paint yesterday and weather permitting as to what day it will get painted. It is installed though and cut to fit the FMIC.
  7. Will do just have to sit and think with time that is free and pics have to take more when I have a opportunity. I love the hate! Lol
  8. So this was word for word from a email that I got from Dave @ Hexmods. Very disturbing and truth be told... Here's what I found: The valve body appeared to be (as far as I could tell) completely stock. I came across zero aftermarket parts or modifications at any significant locations inside the valve body that affect line pressure (there are many). All OEM balls and springs and filters were exactly where they belong. I cannot tell if the valve body had ever been opened, but since it's stock on the inside, I would have to guess that it had never been opened. The valve body itself was not in great shape. The 5EAT from which it came was overdue for an ATF change. Also of important note, the filter had metal particles in it, which is very rare, and not what you want to have. I wish I could tell you more, but the person who removed it from the transmission did not follow the directions in any shop manual or my online instructions, so various bolts had been touched that should not have been. This means that it's impossible to tell who did what to the valve body prior to your mechanic having removed it. I cannot tell where your mechanic's work stopped and another tech's work began. So that part is a mystery. The electrical harness mounts were all bent, meaning someone tried pretty hard to remove them, though they do not need to be touched at all for valve body swapping. That is a mystery as well, but not of any great consequence. Aside from the metal in the main filter and things a bit out of wack from blind wrenching at some point in its past, nothing jumped out at me as odd or unusual.
  9. picked up off my buddy a JDM front bumper last week! Needs paint and some hacking for the Fmic and then I will take pics with it on...
  10. Got a major Swap that I'm gonna be doing very soon. Decided to go Stick instead of Automatic stay tuned for pic's and story time
  11. Super shafts Long island driveshaft Ask for Marty and tell him Whitey referred ya.
  12. Tranny is in and putting the bumper and wheels back on today and should be test driving it soon. Got some pics of the Custom 1 piece Aluminum Drive Shaft. Have to get the gas out and put more E85 in. Have to get some fittings to do the oil pressure gauge and probably going to drain all the brake fluid when I do the Rear SS brake lines and go with Dot4 fluid. When all this is done any I put some miles on the car it's tune time http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/Tranny4.jpg http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/TrannyCustom1pieceAluminumDriveShaft2.jpg http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/TrannyCustom1pieceAluminumDriveShaft1.jpg http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/TrannyCustom1pieceAluminumDriveShaft.jpg
  13. 3K Torque Converter came in today Woooo! Bad news was I had to buy 11 qts of Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF at $10 each FML! http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/TrannyTorqueconverter3K.jpg
  14. For around the same price you could just go with a MAP EF2 which is a 20G and is currently what I run. http://www.maperformance.com/map-ef2-stock-frame-turbocharger-subaru.html
  15. Update Tranny is about 80% done just waiting on torque converter and custom drive shaft. Picked up SS rear brake lines and a oil pressure gauge
  16. Yes so far I have found that they definitely lied about the Torque converter telling me it was a 3,300k, meanwhile it's a 2,500k and the hub was broken. Ordered a new hub and it will be here Monday. The 3k Torque converter should be done by Tuesday hopefully... Decided to do a custom 1piece Drive shaft and contemplating on changing the gears to 4.11 gear ratio. I already have a R160 4.11rear diff that I picked up over a year ago. Could pick up two rear axles and then I think that should do it correct me if I'm wrong? Got the Hexmods Valve body in the mail Friday. Will be updating as progress gets made or when it's finished. Going to ask Dave to let me know if the Valve body I send him is stock or modified to see if I was lied to about that as well...
  17. Car is on the lift and this is the tranny all apart http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/TrannyTorqueconverter.jpg http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/Tranny1.jpg http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/TrannyValvebody.jpg http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/Tranny2.jpg http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/chchimpy/Tranny3.jpg
  18. Yea doesn't appear to be lol. The trouble is I need to figure out the truth and the lies. I was told everything was done to my tranny soup to nuts and it hasn't felt that way from day 1 really. That being said I'm going to have my Mechanic Whitey do a 3k torque converter, F1 Hex mods Valve body, redo tranny with master kit, fluids, tranny filter ect...
  19. Yea I just told my mechanic Whitey who does all my work and he said yea not to run the fuel anymore and go right back to E85. I think I will have him drain it or just drive it slow to burn it all and then fill her up with some E85. Right now got her on the lift and am going to pull the tranny and try to figure out the problem with it and if I have to mod the tranny and build it again at least this time I will have it done right... I'm in no rush though as I still got time to get the Tune before race season starts up...
  20. I am open sourced tuned there is no swapping tunes and Dave is not my tuner so I wouldn't talk to him about it. The people that told me to run 93 I think were also under the impression that I could swap tunes and is why they said what they said. I have been hearing now some bad things from people and am going to switch back to E85 pronto. Thanks for looking out bro...
