LOL!!! I missed this post. That is definitely me. I can tell by the exhaust "smoke." I think I have valve stem issue. I thought I had head gasket issue, but no. Its burning up some oil. Not real sure what to do about it at this point except keep putting oil in it!! LOL!!!

? Where are all the local meets at? I go to the Hooters Meets in Wayne on Thursdays.. and a couple of my buddies (few BMWs, EvoX, WRX, etc.) and I meet up randomly whenever the weathers nice lol.

Hey, you have that document with 05 Manual Transmission stuff in there?

 

Found oil leaking out of my trans where the shift linkage goes in the transmission (on top, near the transmission mount). Curious to see if there's an seal ring or some type of gasket that's available.

Well, as soon as I got there, they tested for boost leaks and I found one at the BOV.. so while they were fixing it, their lunch came.. so me and my buddies walked to a pizza shop, came back... and found that the "kid" doing the boost leak test decided to slack off after it was fixed (wasted time), and someone else in a WRX jumped in front of me for the dyno tune.

And yesterday, I spotted an "older man" driving a Silver LGT Sedan (06), with a Borla Catback, Wheels, and Lowered... with black soot all over the tips (Stage 2?) Driving like a maniac through 24 to 287... I didn't feel like risking my life, so I gave up on keeping up with him. lol

No, I didn't put it on yet.. I just picked up an O-Ring at work, hopefully it matches lol. I'm gonna pull my plugs and check the gap, I keep popping Misfire codes for Cyl. 2 and 4 every couple weeks. I just replaced them about 10K miles ago.
