I think we can agree that contacting Nameless or constantly putting them down is getting us nowhere other than allowing us to vent our frustrations.
Agreed. Misery loves company lol. A guys gotta have somewhere to vent. Def can't vent to the wife about this one.

I got one of those too. I used the credit they gave us for forgetting to install the wideband bung. Should've been a sign of things to come.

I thought it was the product and the poor customer service in resolving the issue?
It seems that people are happy with their handling of the situation. My bad.
Edit: (Actually I could share the poor customer service experience my wife had when she bought their bpv for my birthday last year if you'd like another example).

You mean the one that's not compatible with their downpipe? [emoji12]

Besides that, though, it does look pretty clean. I wonder if that chrome is just some stripping that's removable.
Some of them have 3 or 4 screws up in side the lip. Used to have to install this stuff back in the 90's

Nameless has reviews turned off on their Facebook page. Was going to leave them a review.

From Nameless
Install was a breeze and took them about an hour and a half. There were no install issues and no flapper issue.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's not that easy to source the housings unfortunately
Was thinking more like one at a time kinda like the community housing we were trying to get going. It will take a while but we've already waited over a year.

Let me run something by you guys, tell me what you think. If we can all agree that porting is the only way to fix our problem and I was the maker of the downpipe that claimed to do something that it doesn't and took money from 20 people and wanted to make things right here's what I would do. I would get a turbo housing port and polish the wastegate remove material so the flapper can open further throw in some new mounting hardware and gaskets if needed and create some nice step by step instructions on how to remove and install and send it out to the people from the group buy with a return shipping label for their core. Take care of the guys that have already installed the pipe first and work your way down the list until everyone is taken care of.

I think this whole thing has been a learning process for everyone involved even Nameless and English, which is probably one of the more positive outcomes of the situation. Starting to think I sound like a broken record at this point but it just sucks that we all thought we were buying a finished product but instead we're essentially beta testing it. At least we all definitely learned that you can't believe everything you read on the internet
I agree I feel like they didn't do any r&d on the product and now we are forced to spend even more money to make it work. I personally don't want to run my car at 20psi and I don't want to install my old leaky bpv back on the car and overwork the turbo and create more heat not to mention I already purchased and installed their bpv. I also agree with what gteaser said about not making power sooner because they are compensating for too much boost early on. I had plans to buy their axle back for my car but I don't feel like they deserve more of my money at this point and will be looking somewhere else for an alternative.

So are we thinking getting the flapper all the way open is going to eliminate the need for porting?

Hell, they have one in their own lineup which was advertised by Nameless and talked about a lot on this forum while the DP group buy was in progress. I'm sure there are several people in the GB that added the BPV to their order well.
I bought one and currently have it installed on my car.

So if all it takes to solve the boost creep problem is to leave a leaky factory bpv on my car then why did I pay more than double for a dp that was supposed to fix the problem but doesn't?

Wonder if they had to do the hammer mod to clear the flapper?

Well you might be surprised to hear that it seems the Stars have aligned and the test should be done..... soonish ha ha ha! Talked to Steven today and hopefully everything works out and everything will come to an end soon! The plan is to run my car with its setup without touching it and do a few pulls log it and switch out the dp to your design and rinse and repeat. They will post the logs regardless of the results and we can all move on with our lives ha ha ha
Looking forward to the results. Let us know when you get something scheduled please.

What kind of boost are you guys getting with your stage 1 setups? I'm hitting 18 according to the ap. I have the nameless bpv and off the shelf stage 1 map for 93. Still waiting to get my catted nameless dp put on. feel like my car may be overboosting already.

You can turn the gear display off through the same menu as the mpg and temp settings through the cluster. I have mine off I don't like it. Hope you get everything working with this swap without too much headache would love to do this myself.

Hi Guys -
planning on having this installed/tuned Wednesday @ procom racing in toms river NJ http://www.procomracing.com/
Nameless DP
AVO TMIC
AVO Charge Pipe
Grimmspeed EBCS
Nameless or Tial BPV
Leaving stock exhaust after the downpipe for now, and stock everything else -
have the 3" DP to MP adapter, and have the new turbo to DP gaskets, have the totally stainless bolts, but i thought I read somewhere these might not work out - is there new thinking here?
what else would this group want to have other than logs from the tunes?
nameless - any specific recommendations to forward along to installers?
Any updates? Curious to see how things went?

Let's not get off the focus of getting some resolution to this. Everyone hold your correspondence until I get a response please. Multiple correspondences will just muddy things.
Wasn't trying to step on your toes. I contacted them before you did

You guys reminded me I still have this part laying around and might finally get it installed since it's starting to get warm. Since I'm pulling the intercooler should I go ahead and order the Perrin hose in case my factory one is fubared?
