I wonder if there’s some connection between the front corner window wind noise issue (reportedly affecting 2015 Legacys built before 10/10/14) and this windshield cracking problem. Perhaps something about the installation technique and/or materials? It’d be interesting to know the build dates of Legacys with windshield issues; pre-10/10/14? Might be worth input from the posters here, just to see if there’s a trend building up (however small the database right now).
