  1. Taurus Spectrum .380 Auto

Taurus' Spectrum was desgined for concealed carry. This subcompact pistol weighs a hair over 10 ounces and carries six rounds in a flush-fitting magazine. The included extended magazine gives you an additional round and a little more surface area to the grip. It has low profile, fixed sights, a loaded chamber indicator, and an internal lock. A distinctive feature of the Spectrum is the polymer color accents located on the slide and grip. This model has a black polymer frame, stainless steel slide, and black soft touch overmolded color accents on the grip and slide.

  2. Depends on where you live - in some countries they do it to improve insulation or show off that you can afford it.

Very normal to hang rugs (tapestries) on the walls in parts o eastern Europe and down into areas in the middle east and north Africa. I thought I had pictures of some hung rugs in Bosnia but I can't find them. Maybe the only images I have of tapestries from that trip are in my head.

  3. When I have an job where I have an office, or even a cubicle with wall space, I hang a plaque that I was given 20 years ago by my father in law as a commissioning gift. It read, "The integrity of the upright guides them". I honestly believe if you seek to do the right thing you cna sleep with a clear conscience.

  5. Stack-On cabinet. What I like: it's a better storage option than keeping my guns in my closet or under a bed.

What I don't like: it's not an actual safe and not hard to break in to.

Well put. I have move 11 times in the past 18 years. Movers charge by weight. That is why I have 2 of the cheapo stack on cabinets vice a safe. They are better then nothing.

  6. Nah we're only a family of 4, so around town it's fine. It's would be most useful when we go anywhere, especially with extended family.

Also minivan fails the ground clearance and AWD requirement. Also minivan's are uncool, which is one of the reasons the Honda Pilot is not high on the list, nor the 2020 Highlander (both look too much like a minivan).

Realistically though both Highlander and Pilot are not on my high list due to: cylinder deactivation, auto start-stop, and boat like handling, and lack of space (highlander). Though I might settle for a used Pilot since they are half the cost of the Ascent.

We are in the same predicament you are, needing more space. We have a 2012 Mazda CX9 but the cargo space is next to non existent and the back seat is tiny and our growing children will soon outgrow it. We are a family of 7.

Like you we want all-wheel drive. There are minivans with all wheel drive, notably the Toyota Sienna. A minivan doesn't address your ground clearance issue though. I would argue that a minivan can be cool. But only with some aftermarket investments.

Best of luck in your car search.

Crazy what we used to think as a nation.
