  1. I just looked at the raptor site. That sub 5.5 second 0-100kph is quoted with the supercharger. That is insanely slow for a supercharged 3.6R.

I will accept sub 4.5 second 0-100kph with 40% increase over stock HP.

Not being a car guy I had no idea what to expect. I'd owned three civics prior to this car and all had been automatics. every time I asked about upgrades on them everyone said it wasn't worth it you don't have a manual. So they never got modded. Finally with this 3.6 and people are starting to mod it so I can do upgrades and feel like I'm not venturing out into uncharted territory with no guidance or people to lean on.

  2. If you are at least a 91 tune with an intake, you should be under 6 seconds.

Did Raptor use a completely stock 3.6R, add headers and a tune? What octane? What conditions?

I've had several ~5 second runs but they were all at 70 or less degrees.

    ...

Yeah I tuned with 92-93 depending on the station that I filled up at. As for where Raptor's getting their numbers I have no clue...and they may not have gotten numbers since ItalianLegacy probably hasn't been tuned yet...oh and it looks like the page got updated it's now sub 5.5 0-100kph.

So does anyone think we could get them to do a group buy at 25% off :D actually not sure I'd want to spend even that much on it just yet since I have the 100k warranty and taking that out probably isn't as simple as my current setup.

  3. Add: intake, exhaust, and tune.

    Do: 5 seconds flat

    ;)

Have intake and tune. stock exhaust though. And will test again without the AC on as I know that takes away as one of the previous test tunes were showing 10 seconds speeds with the AC on...at first I was like WTF you're making my car slower than I realized I was awfully cool for a 90 degree day and tested again and it was back down to 7 -7.1 seconds.

Since Raptor says they only make the 3.6r a 5.5 second 0-60 with tune, I don't see my intake alone getting me anywhere close to that.

  4. Talking about the new wrx.

Is anybody else seeing what Subaru is doing with their lineup?

Seems to me that they are making room for a smaller subcompact.

Think about it. The 5th Gen legacy jumped in size alot, now the new wrx is similar in size and even looks like more of a natural continuation of the 4th Gen legacy.

I see a 98-01 Impreza sized or maybe even smaller car coming in the next few years to compete with such cars as the Yaris, Fiesta, etc.

Don't worry they're just bringing back the baja. Lol

  5. Thanks... I wasn't impressed with them. 3 emails and no response just to have the chat guy tell me the email was disable and one guy quit working there. I said you might want to update your Contact page then. Then "Dewwy" did his best to get me to not order anything and succeeded.

thanks I'll avoid them as well. But than again the funnel would be useless for me now.

  6. RaceRom feature for EcuTek may be getting close.

Here is an e-mail from AMR:

    We

are in discussion with EcuTek to push the 3.6R's

compability and further help the community.

We would like to know your opinion on "what

RaceROM features would you like to see on your

    vehicle?".

    Thank you for your time.

Sent and email as on my way home I dropped down a nice back road and tested logging on the ECUTek and got a 20 for airflow and noticed some air flow intake warnings :D

  7. Some said it couldn't be done. I'm here to say it can. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/29/sehe7a7e.jpg

Went and picked up clamps during the test run video to follow. Takeda intake with 3 inch coupler to 90 degree 4 inch to 3 inch reducer. 6 inch long 4 inch diameter pipe to K&n rc5171. Which actually tucks in completely under where the milk jug fit, which I was surprised by.

I'm reading it as WRX / 5EAT meaning it works on the WRX as well as any other 5EAT but that might just be me being hopeful.
